Aww Birdie, soon for you, I hope. I'd love all of us long timers to get our BFPs (which is not to say I dont want everyone else to).

Had a dream last night that I was really, really pregnant with the massive bump. Was quite sad when I woke up this morning with my normal fat not pregnant belly.

If I don't get pregnant this cycle (ha!) I'd quite like to get pregnant next month for the worst reason possible. My friend is getting married to another "friend" and I know she's just using him cause nobody else is around and I'm really angry with them for certain ways they've behaved since they got together. I don't even know if we'll be invited as I've outlived my usefulness to the happy couple but if I get pregnant next cycle, their wedding would be too close to my due date for me to be able to attend. Cue me forcing DH to BD every day over ov, using the whole tube of conceive plus and possibly asking all my male friends who match DH in colouring for their sperm. I'm joking about the last one (or am I?)

thanks birdie and becca, it was one of those where you get another word stuck in your head and it's all you can think of. i got stuck on agnus castus so kept thinking 'that supplement that is like clomid is called...agnus castus! no, agnus castus!' argh!

Becca they've been fabulous since i started the inositol but i was hoping that was a miracle cure and it's clearly not :o

code also hoping for you that you oved at the weekend! I feel exactly the same as you, hoping I get pregnant in the next few cycles so I have an excuse not to go to a wedding I'm not looking forward to next year!!

I'm glad I wasn't the only one irritated by Kate Garraway. Silly woman.

    Sorry for CD1 skaps xx

angeltreats hope you ov soon. Is it worth double checking with opks just for the next few days? x

picklekin that's bad! My clinic won't give clomid without monitoring due to the risk of OHSS. Hope you get some answers xx

Birdie that's disgusting! What makes people do things like that?! PS I also hope you get to rub a beautiful scan pic in their faces very soon :D

claire I'm staying away from google this cycle! What will be will be. Now if only I could feel like that about Friday (FS appt!!). Hope the CBFM works for you soon!!

Welcome selina and miskate would you like adding to the list?

TeamLowe anything is worth a try. Soy didn't work for me but I know it has for others. Insitol sounds great though! Might give it a go post-clomid!

Nice to see you PV

It's not ideal, but better than nothing and I keep telling myself that he's got super fast c0ck dolphins so surely the best ones will already be on their way by the time I have to jump up and leg it back to the office hoping that my beard burn doesn't give me away! :rotfl:

LOL, oh dear Code! :o Reminds me of several years ago when OH had gone into B00ts to buy condoms (shows you how long ago this was! :p) and there was a promotion on where they came with a free lube and the cashier made a point of calling someone over to go and pick up the selection he could choose from and saying, 'There's tingle, heat or cooling... ooh, wonder what that feels like?! ;)'. Poor lad just grabbed one and legged it... then told me that I was on birth control buying duty after that! :rotfl: After that it felt like we ran into at least one person we knew every time we had some condoms in our basket! Glad we don't use them now, saves those awkward situations! :p

:rotfl:HAHA ! Loved these stories thankyou !! I still have 5 pages to read i'll have to finish them later, glad you're all so chatty and up-beat

OH is raring (sp??) to begin operation BD again this month after over a week of AF and my parents in the house ! Let the baby-making begin ... :o

Claire ...my monitor for the trial went onto high on day 9 too!!
i was wondering if it was because id had to redo the test on d8 (didnt dip for long enough!) and that i'd then got a weaker sample later on in the morning.

But sounds like its happening to everyone!

i even had a mardy at oh this morning cause he was too tired last night, and i was rushing off to work this morning. think i said something along the lines of "we'll never get pg at this rate if you don't want to bd when the monitor says so!!" hmmm, think i need to apologise this morning!

why do we get sooo stressed about it?!

That makes me very suspicious! Seems very odd. I just don't believe it can be a high on cd9. I'm not even going to bother to bd until Thursday or Friday.

TL I have some inositol now, was going to start it this cycle but because I had the blood tests and the monitor I've decided to use it on the next one. It sounds like its really working for you!

I'm annoyed because at 6.10 I rang the drs after I pumped myself up to call & get my blood test results only to get a recorders message saying they are now closed their opening times are 8-6.30. Um hello it's 6.10?! It's a nightmare as I finish work at 6ish & you can only call for results after 2.30pm so can't ring before work either. Hopefully I might be finishing a bit later earlier tomorrow & will call then.

Hello Selina; and Miskate - definitely agree with what others have said, don't expect a typical textbook cycle!

Kynthia - agree with a lot of your comments about Kate Garraway. Think the whole article is nonsense. So many factors come into play - we are encouraged to get a career and be financially dependant, yet by doing this it means time passes. Also totally agree it should be aimed at men, glad I met my OH at uni, as no hope finding a man elsewhere! Also I don't think when you start going on the pill you are told just how long it takes your body to get back to normal, so while I am all for safe sex, I think GP's should make you more aware of the consequences later on! Rant over!!

Birdie - Facebook can sometimes be an awful invention. Hope your turn comes soon. If it makes you feel any better, there is a temporary job going in my department - someone asked me if I was leaving for any reason while looking at my stomach!! Definitely need to exercise and lose my muffin top!!

Hugs for all those on CD1, and to all those who need them - sounds like those CBFM are 'interesting'!
