Becca I already think she's a proper twonk, since she smoked during pregnancy so she can nob off. Patronising cow.
I did like the big at the bottom showing older celebrity mums, as if to say 'not really a problem or anyone's business' x
Wow I didn't know that, I didn't picture her as a smoker let alone during pregnancy. Disgusting.0 -
It's so annoying that many of these discussions and campaigns about the average age of first time motherhood increasing in the UK ignore the male element of the equation. There isn't one cause and there is a link between the level of education a woman has and the average age of motherhood (only on average so please don't flame me), which does indicate a link between having a career and not having babies until later. However I truly believe that men are a significant factor as on the whole they are less inclined to settle down and commit in their 20s, let alone consider parenthood, than they were 20 years ago. Therefore unless you find a partner more than a few years older than you, it is likely that you won't find one ready for marriage and babies until their 30s, and correspondingly your 30s. Therefore men should really be educated and targeted more in these campaigns and discussions.:mad::mad:
Also what about the fact that the UK works longer hours than many other first world countries, often requires both partners to work in order to afford housing, has a long average commute to work and has less disposable income than many. Surely all of the above means we BD less than other countries as we're tired and have less time. And we all know no BD no baby, so perhaps we have a longer 'trying to conceive' time adding to the delay.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Sigh... Nothing is ever straightforward. I'm still getting highs on the CBFM and haven't been doing 'normal' opks this month because I assumed the CBFM would be accurate. But it's now CD16 and from my temps it looks like I might have ov'd two days ago on CD14, for the first time ever.
Although I was having a lot of ewcm yesterday and the day before, and none on CD14. Could my temps be high just because I've been warm? I stayed in a hotel last night and the room was boiling.
I wouldn't care about knowing exactly except that I'm having 21 day bloods this month and I actually need to know when I ovulate!0 -
Well my temp is decreasing & I've got period cramps. I'm only 8dpo! Stupid body!!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

Are you not being monitored picklekin?
Nope, not at all, given Clomid and not even told to book a follow up appointment! I do have a blood test next week to do and I guess I will phone up and see the DR after that.
I'm all a bit worried because I wanted to try and have my HSG private so I could have it at the weekend, they don't cover much in the way of fertility treatment but they do basic tests. When I phoned up they said my Dr was not a proper gynecologist and was just registered as a GP. They only cover treatment from specialists so I was back to the NHS, didn't mind so much but had to take a day off work! (although the staff were loooovley)
When is your anniversary Becca? Don't mind me, just read your sig! Mine is next Saturday (1 year, been together ages though) and we are packing our tent and off to Devon to celebrate, not everyone's cup of tea but its cheap and fun!
Congrats starshinning0 -
Star congrats hope everything goes well for the re-test.
xx0 -
Congrats on the bfps and fingers crossed for star shining.
Things are really busy here so haven't had much of a chance to catch up. Did make a very silly mistake here (well OH is part to blame) with CBFM trial. First test due today CD6 (CD7 I personally think) and OH put the test on the side for me last night so I wouldn't forget. I put the test in this morning and it comes up 'Pregnancy Test'!
So still half a sleep, there I am looking up why it would say this online when I finally realise it looks like a different colour handle to the other one I then used. DOH!! Now I look like a complete idiot and its only day 1 and before 7am...I hope today improves!0
