Well af has gone but like you Thriftylass mine was very short with only 3 days and very light. The last few months (just about every one this year) have been like that. Sometimes I get 1 heavy day but mainly it's just very light - I was also starting to worry about it a bit and also wondered if it was connected to my age (36) and wondered if it is affecting ttc at all.

Off on a lovely spa break tomorrow so it'll be nice to get some rest, relaxation and pampering and not give ttc a second thought!

Oh dear Faith! :o I'm sure you won't be the last to do that, just don't let your OH get involved any more as it's clearly ALL his fault! ;)

Agree with the general not-impressed-ness with this awful Make Britain Fertile campaign! I don't take any notice of anything with her face on anyway. :p It's totally right that it's the men who need to be targeted just as much as the women anyway. Nearly all of my male friends want a baby in their mid-30s rather than 20s as they're not ready emotionally or financially which obviously leaves their girlfriends/wives hanging on until they're in their 30s also. It doesn't help that they all want to get married before having children and they can't afford the wedding they think they need which delays things by a few years, then they want to have the house and the career in place... I know there's no 'right' time but even getting yourself halfway there can take 5+ years! :o

And here's a nice FB rant of the day courtesy of my OH! One of his friends last night: 'Mummy friends! How do you get your toddler to do a poo on the potty???' Urgh, !!!!!!, TMI lady! There were 15 comments with helpful suggestions from the required 'Mummy Friends' (God, how I hate seeing this on FB and/or forums- well done, you reproduced and joined the club, not my fault I'm not allowed in so stop rubbing it in everyone's face! :p). I told OH that as soon as she starts posting photos of the results he's to take a picture of one of his jobbies and send it to her to see how she likes it! :rotfl:

Hugs for the cramps and temp dip Becca. :o

Have a lovely time at the spa Babymad! Gosh, I would love a bit of pampering right now! :)

I'm 35 so nearly the same age. Im on CD4 today and it picked up a bit again and it's still light bleeding today rather then stop completely. Cant remember the last time I was happy about my period being a bit longer :p.

Sigh... Nothing is ever straightforward. I'm still getting highs on the CBFM and haven't been doing 'normal' opks this month because I assumed the CBFM would be accurate. But it's now CD16 and from my temps it looks like I might have ov'd two days ago on CD14, for the first time ever.

Although I was having a lot of ewcm yesterday and the day before, and none on CD14. Could my temps be high just because I've been warm? I stayed in a hotel last night and the room was boiling.

I wouldn't care about knowing exactly except that I'm having 21 day bloods this month and I actually need to know when I ovulate!

Maybe you will today? A different room could probably affect your temp.

Becca I had cramps at 10dpo last month and google told me it could be implantation but it clearly wasnt.. However I didn't have a temp drop like you, so fingers crossed!

I used to like Kate Garraway - didn't realise she was such a !!!!!! She looks about 90 in that photo. I'm 40 and if I looked like that I'd get taken to the knackers yard! :D
My DH is 10 years younger than me so it wouldn't have been possible (or legal) to have kids with him when I was in my early 20s :rotfl: It meant by the time we went out for a few years and got married (he didn't want to have kids before that) that we had to get on with it pretty quickly. There is a good side - he is more of a tiger than a panda....OMG does that make me a cougar??? Conjures up and image of Dorien in Birds of a Feather!!!! Still we managed to have DD when I was 38 and I'm still hopeful of another.

Faith2009 - I've still to start the CBFM trial but I'm not the best with instructions so we'll see how it goes

Birdie - Your post made me LOL :rotfl: imagining her getting of photo of a poo and then talking about rubbing people's face in it when you were talking about poo. People do put TMI on fb.

BabyMad - Enjoy the Spa - sounds fab, can I come? :o

Hugs to those who need them and lots of babydust xx

!!!!!!! I've just done the clear blue monitor test and its come out high?? Even if it gave you a high 6 days before ov I refuse to believe that's possible for me. And Dh is going away this weekend! It just seems ridiculous to start bd on day 9?

Does anyone know if it might be giving out some kind of automatic high? Rather than a real one?

I already warned him id be flying to where he's going if it came to it lol

Edit - panic over according to google it can show highs for days on end before peak or in some cases no peak.

Claire - for once google is right! On my first cycle on cbfm I think I got at least 10 days of highs then my peak was really late. Either it was a wonky cycle or (more likely) the monitor was just getting used to me. Nothing similar since but I reckon it took 3 cycles to really suss me out.

    Hi guys

Hope everything is ok and everyone is happy, I'm still learning all the abbreviations! :D

I've done as others have suggested and ordered a big bunch of opk tests from ebay, about £3 for 30 which was better than the cheapest I had seen in the shops which was £3.75 for 5. I have the temp chart ready to go and need to find the thermometer. Just waiting for AF then off we go!
I do have a couple of pok tests hanging around and this is the time I'm supposed to be ov so I thought I'd try one. To my happiness I have 2 blue lines! This is great as the big issue is whether I am actually still ov due to lack of seeing ewm. OH is overjoyed as it means lots more of DTD :D
