twigpig all crossed for you, except toes (I have webbed feet )
Happy birthday tink :bdaycake:
Fannyanna nice to have some good news re DH's SA. Hope you have a CD26 or onwards ov (better late than never...)
Birdie and chocoholic_chick, hugs for AF. xxx
claire you are doing crazy well with your savings, keep it up like that and you'll soon be completely skinted by a mortgage :T:rotfl:Are you in an expensive area? We are in the East Midlands and you still sometimes get the odd property come up for £70k (often doer-uppers, granted) In fact, a big 2 bed, 2 reception-room semi in a reasonable area, albeit ex council estate, has gone up for £86k this week - it's a lot of house for your money! My friend lives in the adjoining house and stupidly a mortgage would be less than rent, but all the time she's renting they can't save for a deposit
I'm lucky because we rent from a family member otherwise our rent would be sky high, so we can at least save as yep the prices here are expensive. I saw some PDF of prices in various areas someone posted on the house buying forum a few weeks ago and we live in the 2nd most expensive area after London.
We want to buy a 3 bed will be a terrace or a semi, the cheapest I've found that looked ok inside is £230k but I reckon it's cheaper than most as they are about to build a big development opposite it. Most are around £250k or More. So we are planning on waiting until we've had at least 1 kid before we move! And there's no hope of using a new build help to buy type scheme, the nearest 3bed new builds to me were £320k a complete rip off.
My SIL lives in the East mids, it crazy how 2 hours in the car can half the price of a house!
Welcome newbies!
I just noticed we hardly had any bfps in march or April!0 -
GOOD MORNING ALL!
Another nice sunny morning here, trying to keep positive.
Wow Congrats Lily! :j- normal lube kills the swimmers
- ewcm is clear not white
- not to be bewildered that ov might not occur exactly on CD14
- CD1 is when you start full flow not spotting
- don't go wild as soon as AF is gone as DH might be worn out by the time an egg appears :rotfl:
faithhope - i think that is something i need to keep reminding myself of...
Im something like cd 19 today (I think), been using opks since cd10 on the assumption i am back to my 28 day cycle but alas nostill getting negs on the opks so im guessing my cyccles aren't so perfect anymore
Anyways, we are trying to DTD every other day just in case im getting false negs
I could do with losing about half a stone as well, but ive been saying that for about a year now... im such a lazy bum!

Morning all!
Just popping in to say hi!
LilyMay - Congrats and sending you sticky thoughts x
Tink - Hope you had a wonderful birthday!
Beautybutterfly - you have more self restraint than me.....how have you not tested again yet?! Good luck!
I think I missed my ovulation this monthused OPKs and didn't get a positive at all and I have got one every other month I've used them. I've been super stressed at work so suspect I didn't ovulate
We DTD lots anyway tho
It's payday so I finally stopped umming and aahing and treated myself to a CBFM off amazon  probably a complete waste of money that I will later regret.....!
Get my blood test results in Thursday and hubby has SA today (hopefully....! I'm not convinced he's booked one despite telling me he has!!)
Have a good day all & enjoy the sunshine! X0 -

Goood Morning!
Lovely day here. I'm on CD 9 now and the temp is still low as expected. Managed another BD this morning (gosh two in a row) and hopefully manage another one actually closer to the time it matters.
Beautybutterfly got my fingers and toes crossed for you

Hello everyone
So I'm Kalama, and I guess I'm NTNP/TTC#1 as from 05/13.
I've been dithering about when to start TTC, but the decision was sort of made for us last week after DH received a - um - sporting injury. Turns out my coil had shifted. One trip to the docs later and I find out it's got itself stuck. I found this out when the doc tried to pull it out. Man that hurt. In the end they had to take it out in theatre whilst I was sedated (how a girl loves to hear the words "we have to cut into your cervix").
Anyway, we've decided not to have it replaced, which means that we are officially NTNP. We're not going for all out TTC just yet, as we're moving continents in 17 weeks time, so I think I need to get that out the way first. DH is however convinced that he is such a fine specimen of manliness that it will happen straight away. Bless.
The good news about my impromptu trip to theatre is that I apparently am in perfect health. I have the heart rate of an athlete (nearly fell off the bed laughing at that one), great blood pressure and a very good blood sugar result. Now all I need to do is lose ooh, 30 lbs or so :rotfl:. I may need you all to kick my overly large behind to achieve this.

Most women ovulate 1 or 2 days after the LH surge. For me, it was 2. So tomorrow or Thursday will be 0dpo for you. It takes a little while for the LH to do it's thing in your body
And thank you for the congrats ladies. I spent so long on this thread it seems more than home than the other one.
Claire - Nevermind moving 2 hours, driving 2 minutes up the road can less than half the house prices in a lot of areas I've lived in! We are very lucky to live in a nice area, surrounded by other nice areas, but the other side of 'town' if you like....we could buy a bigger house for a fraction of the price of what ours cost. But then again you can't change your neighbours or view from your window so best to get good ones! Hope you're doing okay anywayxx

I finished week 5, which at the end had a 20min/2 mile run! I finished it although felt horrible in the last few minutes and I did it on the day it was 22c which didn't help! But considering 6 weeks previous I couldn't run more than 1 minute without feeling bad I was really proud of myself!
However as I didn't ovulate the month I started, and this month up until the weekend i still hadnt got a positive opk, I got paranoid so I stopped. I guess now I've ovulated I could start week 6 but now I'm worried about implantation plus I'm getting my blood tests done in the next couple of weeks so just don't want anything to mess it up. So I figure I proved I can run if I stick at it so perhaps ill go back to it in the future. I really wanted to finish it and do the 30 min/5k run but it was just making me worry too much, even though it might not be related at all.0 -
Morning ladies. How's it going?
Not having a great day. Started off with me waking up at 2am and having to run to the loo to be sick I'm almost never sick but this has happened a couple of times this month and it's always been stomach acidy so now I'm worried I have a stomach problem. My back and hip are also aching which isn't a good thing. I feel like a little old lady and I actually have to go into the office today which involves 2 trains and some walking, carrying the world's heaviest laptop.
Its also a fast day which is no problem as my tummy feels upset.
