It sounds strange as a mum of two but I don't really know what I'm doing! My other two were unplanned so this is the first time TTC for us. I got my implant out about 2 weeks ago, I have no idea when things will "settle" so I can start keeping a track on my cycle!

I'm a mum too and I don't know what I'm doing but have just ordered OPKs so that might help. I've also learnt a bit from when I've started on here:

    - normal lube kills the swimmers
    - ewcm is clear not white :o
    - not to be bewildered that ov might not occur exactly on CD14 :o
    - CD1 is when you start full flow not spotting
    - don't go wild as soon as AF is gone as DH might be worn out by the time an egg appears :rotfl:

AFM I'm on CD2 today so hoping these OPKs help for May TTC. DH seems to think having a daytime session works - not always practical and nothing scientific about it apart from we did that when I got preg with DD.

Fanny anna you still have time to ovulate hun. You're not out yet x

Booked my 7dpo blood test for Tuesday, it will be 8dpo but obviously drs shut on a bank holiday and I figure 1 day out should be ok.

TL that's exciting about getting a house. I would like to buy a house too but it's so expensive we need to save more first so I think we won't be able to for another couple of years (plus I'm paranoid we'll need ivf so i dont want to spend the 'house deposit' money as once we have a house our out goings will be so much more than now so wouldn't be able to afford it).

So, so sorry to hear your bad news tealover and ejecoms.

Happy birthday tinkwings! Have a lovely day :)

Welcome to everyone that's joined in the last few days, I only joined last month and everyone here is fantastic.

twigpig I'm glad to see you back on here and hope you had a lovely week off. I've been looking at your chart each day with my fingers crossed for you!

Becca thanks for doing the lists again today.

AFM, AF has left the building. Thank goodness, I have never had such a long visit before! Am looking forward to jumping my lovely hubby later on...!

I hope everyone else is OK and that you've enjoyed the sunshine today (despite the fact it wasn't exactly warm).

DH got his SA results earlier (2nd lot) and they are fine. Have been using OPKs and CBFM this month and it would seem that my apparent ovulation last month really was an Easter miracle as this month it’s back to not ovulating.

    FA x

AWESOME news on the SA front Fannyanna! I know you were upset with the last set. Such stress caused by the last one.

It was the same for us, the test was left out too long before being analysed, and came back with a zero result. They didn't even say that on the test, just that the doctor noticed it said something like 'time to test' of 70 minutes and so he questioned it. Good thing he did, or we would have gone down a long road of other unnecessary tests.

Not so great on the ov front, but celebrate the odd win!
  • Thanks for the words of wisdom and support guys, think I will give my darling friend a day or two and then see about having the boys, even if I just go and sit in the house while they're napping so she can run errands with her dad.

twigpig all crossed for you, except toes (I have webbed feet )

    Happy birthday tink :bdaycake:

    Fannyanna
nice to have some good news re DH's SA. Hope you have a CD26 or onwards ov (better late than never...)

Birdie and chocoholic_chick, hugs for AF. xxx

claire you are doing crazy well with your savings, keep it up like that and you'll soon be completely skinted by a mortgage :T:rotfl:Are you in an expensive area? We are in the East Midlands and you still sometimes get the odd property come up for £70k (often doer-uppers, granted) In fact, a big 2 bed, 2 reception-room semi in a reasonable area, albeit ex council estate, has gone up for £86k this week - it's a lot of house for your money! My friend lives in the adjoining house and stupidly a mortgage would be less than rent, but all the time she's renting they can't save for a deposit

  • Congrats lily!!

    I'm now 10 days late.

Feeling sick quite a lot mainly on a night though and not actually been sick, my skin has been really itchy and I'm so incredibly moody/snappy.

Might test again on wed morning which will be a week since my BFN
