Trying for a Baby Part 9

I had a scan after about 6 or 7 months, and am having 21 day bloods next cycle which will be 8 months, but I think that was mostly because I am having recurrent pain in my ovary/fallopian tube area. I'm hoping to have an HSG through BUPA as it'll be quicker (so my GP said) but I think he'd have sent me for it anyway if I hadn't had the BUPA cover.
But I think if I wasn't having this pain that won't go away they would probably be much less helpful this early.0 -
Now I'm a week late. How long would you guys recommend waiting before I go to the docs or something?0

BB, are you sure you actually ovulated this cycle? Are you temping?0

 Hi everyone and welcome 159, I'm still not back from my hols but I've got on a PC as I wanted to catch up with what was happening with all of you. Congrats Amyloofoo on the BFP I missed.
People can be really insensitive asking about baby plans. I don't think anyone really has any expectations for me, partly because I've got my little toddler but also because 'you're gettin a bit old for that!" Oh thanks......
Waiting for AF, thought she was possibly due yesterday and was planning to wait to test. Had a dream that I got a BFN but then woke up and thought ooh maybe it will be the opposite in real life. No, there was I like a loony testing at 4.30am and was rewarded with a BFN. Have had some nausea but think that's because of all the carp I've been eating. Plus in my grasping at straws I'm thinking I don't really know when AF was due so maybe there is still a chance. I normally count CD1 as the first day of any blood - I get spotting then nothing the next day then it can take a couple of days to get full flow. I've heard that others count CD1 from the first day of full flow. What do you guys do in terms of counting CD1?0 -

Been doing ovulation tests with sticks from amazon and they said I did. However, if I hadn't ovulated would I just miss a period and come on next month?0 -
During my last cycle, I had a postive opk on CD17 but I didn't ovulate. In fact I finally ovulated on something like CD 42 and AF started 14 days later. Your luteal phase tends to always be the same and AF will appear the same number of days after you ovulate, so if for whatever reason that didn't happen, your period won't arrive until you do.
I think sometimes if you have an anovulatory cycle (which does happen sometimes) you will still have a bleed before the next cycle starts - anyone able to confirm this?0 -

You can still have a bleed but you can also skip a month. Fwiw, my GP advised me that they are not interested unless you've gone 6 months without a period because it's perfectly normal to skip one every now and again.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Oh really? What an absolute joke. I've never missed one in my life!! Getting really frustrated :-(0 -
Try not to worry. Your body will do random stuff to annoy you and you'll notice it more because you're keeping track.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Cd is red blood/full flow. So more than spotting.angeltreats wrote: »During my last cycle, I had a postive opk on CD17 but I didn't ovulate. I dont think I ovulated last cycle and I randomly starting AF on cd31 out of nowhere. My temp dropped so I think my hormones dropped which led me to bleed - bit like being on the pill. But I think you can also just sort of skip it, I think its one of those how long is a piece of string type things.
Beauty butterfly I had an opk last month which looked pretty positive but I dont think it actually was, as it didnt look quite as positive as it normall does, but more importantly my temp didnt rise properly afterwards and AF started 8 days later when I have a luteal phase of 13 days. So I dont think I actually did.
That has never happened to me before though, Ive always ovulated after a positive opk. But the one I got last month wasnt quite as strong as it normally is.
Im getting so fed up of this cycle now. I think Im on around cd 29 or something and no sign of ov as I havent had an ewcm yet. so Im giving up on the opks until I get it, because I checked my charts and Ive never ovulated without the ewcm first.0
