I have the best friend ever - I mentioned my friend who was due to pop and my lack of bitterness? WELL, I received a surprise package in the post yestersay...

She sent me her CBFM!! :T:T

She put a note in there saying that as she was just about to pop with her little one and knew how excited we were to get pg she thought she would share the love.. I really don't know what to say cuz know that she bought it brand new (HOW MUCH!!). So have excitedly ordered some sticks today and I'm very excited to get started now although I'm going to wait until after DH has his surgery as no point before hand. I know this still might not be the answer for us but it feels a little like holding the Golden Key!

Its nearly the weekend - I have no work ethic this afternoon, it looks lovely outside! Hope you all have exciting plans for this one - including plenty of pizza and wine for you AF ladies! xx

What a lovely friend you have Tasha! :T I can't wait to get PG so I can bestow my CBFM onto my friend.

I've got no work ethic this afternoon either (wasn't exactly here in spades this morning TBH! ). I'm off next week so I just can't wait until the end of the day! :j No idea what we're going to end up doing, but looking at OH's list of activities it'll involve a lot of food and drink, which suits me as I'll be looking for some comfort with AF so rudely arriving!

Off to see my nephew tonight for baby cuddles. Hope he's starting to get a little more responsive now, they're lovely when they're new but they're a bit boring! My SIL is already driving everyone mad with her OTT Panicked New Mummyness (had him wrapped up in about 4 layers last week when they took him out then when my Dad mentioned his pink cheeks - because he was warm- she started to worry that he was getting sunburnt and tried to cover him up even more! Poor little thing.) Oh and she's already started making Smug Mummy posts on FB! May have to direct her to !!!!!! Parents blog if she carries on like that! :rotfl:

Yes, keeping track makes you notice weird things. Like are you not meant to go dry after AF. I'm CD5 and had EWCM now!??

Feel like I'm getting some very dull AF like pains.

I am so sick of ttc at the moment.

Sick of not ovulating on time, sick of waiting for ov, sick of no ewcm and weird temps. Sick of the thought of possibly not ovulating at all & even more sick that I feel like why am I even thinking about this carp when I should be 7 months pg now.

I was glad it was the weekend after work, the sun was shining & I felt really relaxed and happy. Then after about ten mins my mind reverts to ttc again.

Very weird AF visit. Pretty light- about 1/3 of my usual mooncup volume and just seems to be big clots. It's also much less painful and the cramps I've had were sort of tugging behind my bellybutton than the usual uterus extending to my back and thighs pain. Weird. Very weird.

Both OH and I are 29. We started ttc in April 2011. I went to our GP and told him about our problems at the end of August 2012- so I waited 16 months. I have endo and pcos so I don't know if he referred me without a fight because of these conditions or just because he's lovely. This link seems to confirm that you should be referred now... Maybe worth speaking to your GP again?

Yep- keep chucking that folic acid down your neck- even when you get AF and you want to chuck it in the bin as a f-u nature...

My GP was lovely and understanding but I know others on here have had problems with their GPs- sort of a 'there there'/ condescending attitude or in some cases a lack of knowledge about TTC/ cycles etc.

When I went I took a list of my period dates, cycle lengths and the cycle days I had confirmed ovulation. I explained about the different ways we had tried (SMEP, every three days, 'saving up and blitzing it around ov etc.etc.etc) and other improvements we had made (diet, exercise, vitamins etc.) Reminded my GP I had PCOS and endo and he referred me straight away. I've just posted a link for birdie which you might find useful- it's the criteria for referral that GPs should be working to.

Cd 6 and AF is STILL here, still very heavy and still causing horrible cramps. Never experienced this before.

Stupidly excited this morning cos I got my peak on the cbfm yay! As I haven't been doing opks the past 2 cycles as per my agreement with DH to have a few relaxed months it felt like the most exciting thing ever! Even better we actually bd last night (I had an inkling ov might be soon) and now we have the whole weekend to get jiggy.

I'm temping so I'll update ov day when temps confirm it. Interesting to see my oestrogen line and lh line on the sticks side by side this month and how it correlated with other signs such as ewcm and cp.

So sorry to hear about the mc credit. :A

Had a fab week away in rome with the hubby, nice and relaxed, with far too much prosseco, peroni and pizza! Not to forget all the lovely ice cream!

So, I think I'm cd17, but not been tracking this month with opks, wanted to be relaxed on holiday with out the pressure. But I've prob ov as per the last couple of months, so can I be updated to 0dpo

Need to send off my 2nd consent form for the cbfm today, and hopefully I won't need it for next cycle! Fingers crossed!
