Duo update... (I know everyone is probably bored to death of me whinging about this:o )... I contacted them last night in a right huff about my temps, nearly lost it with OH who said the dreaded words 'just relax about it...'. The lady who got back to me today was lovely. She told me that basically their system works by comparing your days temps in relation to the day before- therefore when you upload your data again the next day the 'odd' temp you might have had the day before may be adjusted in relation to today's temps- they take into account up to 20000 recorded temperatures, even with my TTC obsession I couldn't keep that up- lol.
For example my temp yesterday AM when I uploaded data was 35.86- down from 36.12, after uploading today's data yesterday's has gone up to 35.97 which is still a dip at 4dpo but isn't enough of one to make FF throw a hissy fit and say I haven't ov'd! Anyway- I'll try and stop stressing so much about it now- they have the PhD's so I'm sure they know what they're doing..... :rotfl:0 -

Blimey TCD - I can't keep up! As annoying as it sounds, you should just probably relax and let Duo do their job and see where it takes you. Did you sign up for a certain fixed period, or does it roll each month?
Lovely items as always Tink - you are very talented
Oh no Claire - don't say that. I always put a pillow under my bum. Mostly DH's pillow
Welcome hwoolgar. Sorry to hear about your BFN. It's awful when our bodies play tricks on us. Hope your stay here is short and sweet
credit_crunch - I try to time our BD, so I'm all ready for bed straight after, so I don't get up. I like to lie as long as poss, but am normally up a couple of hours later for the loo
TL - sorry to hear about the bad check out. Letting agencies are horrible. Definitely fight your corner. They need to expect some wear and tear for 2 years.
Afm, I've been having quite bad cramps all day. Could be pre-AF, could be Trapped wind, Could be SS'ing, who knows! Came home and needed to pee and had the crazy desire to poas. On one of my CB digis. Cry. And MIL was downstairs. I must be due on - don't normally act so crazy. Anyway, it was a BFN. Fortunately, it's a twin pack, so if AF doesn't show, or I don't get any pre-AF spotting, then I will test Tuesday.
DH said to me today, "are you pregnant? You must be. We've done it loads of times". Ah, if only it were that easy. I love the naivety of men sometimes.0 -
I paid upfront for the monitor so it was *ahem not very mse alert* £500 which gives you a year of support and temping- after this it's £49 a month on a rolling contract if you want to carry on. If you're not pregnant (note the word pregnant- so you lose your money even if you have a m/c) within 12 months and as long as you stick to their t & c's you get your money back. Way I saw it was that it might stress me out less (pahahaha) and I'll deffo get my money back (I'm super optimistic- can't you tell?) so it's a nice way of keeping £500 out of my spendy little mitts...
I think you and my OH are right though- I definitely do need to relax! Easier said than done though...

That's so confusing teacake! If they are adjusting temps! I am interested to see how they will compare to your own ones if you don't get pregnant this cycle. Hope you do though!
Miffy moo I will have to see if I can find where I read it! I think it said if you do that the sperm can pool around the cervix rather than being in the position to go in.
Who knows though so many ttc myths!0 -
