Hi msm! I was hoping you'd pop over here.
I counted the day I had my Erpc as cd1 but if you have a natural miscarriage I think you count the first day of bleeding as cd1.
I wouldn't worry too much though about a day or two, if you use the opks to show ovulation it's all relative anyway!0 -
Thanks claire!
Going to jump back on the horse (not that OH would mind being called that ;-) )
As soon as bleed stops, not sure how many days from mc day that will be, would have been 5/6weeks?
Not feeling confident, I conceive well, but they just don't like it in there! After Mon's hospital, I'm going to book GP app for referral, and hopefully i will get hormones or something to help!:j - DS - 7

Does anyone know the different stages of CM. Or a link where I can have a read. Not too sure what to put into Google0 -
Sorry ladies, I need to have a bit of a vent
I'm so annoyed with DH. I've been working nights this week as well as having an OU assignment due in so I'm absolutely knackered and have a sore throat / cold thingy going on just to top it off. He's done nothing at all around the house, keeps !!!!!!ing off to his friend's house when I actually have any time off and hasn't cooked any of the food I bought (which is about to go out of date now), choosing instead to eat family bags of crisps, cakes and other 'lazy' treats. There's empty packets and coke cans all over the lounge, as well as dirty plates from 2 nights ago (when I cooked a proper meal BEFORE going on a 12.5 hour shift). He's still smoking, even though he promised to quit aaages ago and I spent a fortune on NRTs for him and looks at me like I'm some kind of monster when I suggest he should be doing more... He constantly whinges that 'he works hard' so shouldn't be expected to come home and cook, etc.... but what does he think I do??? I work more hours than him and in a more demanding job :mad:0 -

sorry Becca!
I had the most positive opk that I ever manage to get on Thursday, and then yesterday was very faint so I expected to ov yesterday and CD17 is average for me. It's just a bit annoying.
When I do opks, I only ever get a dark test line down one side, if you see what I mean. Anyone else experience this?
That's still a negative test- the dark line (if you're holding the non pee end the darkest line is closest to your fingers) is the control line. To be considered positive your line (nearest to the wee end) needs to be as dark or darker than the control line. I think some people prefer the clear blue smiley face OPKs to take away the element of line eye that tends to develop... I haven't tried those though...What time are you testing? Don't use FMU. When my OPKs look like they're getting darker I do one in the afternoon and one in the evening to try and pin down the LH surge. Also make sure you're not diluting your wee (don't drink for about 2 hours before and hold your wee in) HTH and sorry if you already know all of this!
Miffy if you google my beautiful cervix (warning the site has pictures of cervix's... you might not want to search for it in work... :rotfl: ) they have pictures of women's cycles and CM- and detail when the woman was confirmed fertile etc. It's a pretty interesting site.

I really feel for you Amy. My OH was the same with me (without the smoking and junk food but essentially very lazy around the house). We got quite close to ending it. I think we managed to talk through it in the end when I explained to him that I'm not his mother and what I really wanted was a partner who would support me- not drain me for everything I have. He was quite shocked I felt that way (predictably I let it build up until I nearly ripped his head off). We then came to a division of labour agreement and what we expect of each other- it's still a work in progress and I've warned him he won't be getting away with what little he is doing now if we ever have kids... Have you tried talking to him instead of bottling it up/ arguing over it?0

There's a link on the first page of the thread I think.
Angel treats what do you mean only one side? Do you mean a different side to the control side if you're getting faint lines?
Amy my DH can be a nightmare in picking stuff up but not too bad with other things. I'd go mental if he said what yours said about coming home & not wanting to do stuff -as if you do! If he really wants a child he needs to pack the smoking in now I would refuse to ttc til he has because a while ago I read a scary report of a link between children who get childhood cancers & children conceived from sperm of smokers. Plus it lowers sperm count!! Ugh you must be so frustrated. All I can suggest is you sit down at a time when he's not annoying you & talk about it. If my DH leaves stuff around and it's more than a couple of bits I will pile it up & put it on the chair he sits on. When we were younger he used to leave choc bar wrappers in the bedroom so I used to put them on his pillow lol but he blimmin didn't notice & actually went to sleep!0 -
HUgs Amy communcation is a big help with me & DH I also find it better if I say I feel or don't use YOU do this YOU don't do that etc I find that DH responds more when I don't lay blame or point finger with the YOU word............
Does that make any sense????
Good Luck xxxxxxxxIf you can think it........it will happen0 -
Thanks T&C and Claire.
What I mean is that I get a second line that's darker or lighter depending on how close to ov I am, but only ever one side of the line is dark if you see what I mean.
Very similar to this (hope the link works).
I've only ever used this one brand of opks as I bought absolutely loads when we started TTC so perhaps it's just the brand? I do take it to be a positive as it always coincides with my temp rise on CD16 or 17. Maybe I should try some different ones as this has happened with every single test I've done over about five cycles.
T&C I tend to test around 6pm when I get home from work, and don't have a wee from about 3pm.0 -
I posted a positive opks a few pages ago if you want to nosey, that's the first positive I've had in 2 months.
Ok I should stop, I'm now past tipsy and onto drunk, if this is my last 2ww for 9 months I'm gonna enjoy it to the full! xx
Obvious it must be this month because of my awesome attitude! Hehe :-)
