Amazing owl tinkwings - do you sell the items you make (sorry if that is an obvious question)

Teamlowe do you have photos or anything that can act as evidence to show the carpets were not an issue? Is it just general wear and tear that shouldnt really count?

I have no idea how temperatures work so always interesting reading the comments based on that and trying to decipher what you are all on about!!

on CD15, think my opk looked a bit darker but still not as dark as the control line. Think it may also be because I had a little nap when I got home from work so it was probably 2 hours since last having a drink unlike other times when I have been testing

TeamLowe do you rent through an agent?

Your deposit is protected though right so I think theyll have to prove you caused all the damage (which I suspect you didnt?) A new carpet seems pretty ridiculous!

Tia your temp goes up after ovulation and then down when your period comes. The best place to read about it in detail is fertility friend :)

We have a check in report which says there's 'a few marks' on the carpet but the cats pulled it a little in places but not like, holes or anything just pilling.

I have info to say it was to be held in the dps scheme from check in but checked on their website and it says it's not there so I'm suspicious that that's why they were so insistent that the house was a mess when it wasn't. Not as good as when we moved in but we've been there 26 months so lots of fair wear and tear.

I'll fight my corner ladies don't worry, I haven't been reading the buying renting and selling forum for nothing, just frustrating that there's one more thing to sort lol

No spotting so far! Not sure of ov day but a bit longer lp would be great xx

what gorgeous stuff - will have to show my boyfriend and drop some hints as I love the pooches!
    You are very clever.
  • Possibly another TMI post so I apologise in advance!
When you BD how long do you keep the 'swimmers' in there?
I almost always wee straight after BD & my OH is saying I'm not giving the 'swimmers' enough time to get to where they have got to go!
Surely he is wrong! Is he?!

Conventional wisdom says keep your legs up for half an hour after to give them the best shot

BUT sperm defy gravity and the best ones are past the cervix pretty quickly, it's the pap ones that dribble out. So you could argue that you would want natural selection in your sperm and don't want the pap ones to have a go at the egg x

  • Been lurking since started TTC and found this thread really helpful so would like to join.

Started TTC in October 2012 but convinced myself in Jan I was pregnant 4 days late. Took test BFN. stil thought I was pregant but then 2 days later AF came and have felt a real saddness :(:( which struggling to understand.

I am 34 and already have a fantastic daughter of 3.5 who I got pregnant without us planning it but we were over the moon. So we have never tried before and given how upset I was this month I think joining a forum might help as not sure how long this journey will be..... and I need to learn patience and loose weight. x

I agree. I wouldnt worry Im sure they say the best ones are supposed to go through straight away. Plus even that fertility dr said he reckoned the best way was missionary or standing up! And he said one of the questions people are always embarassed to ask was why does half of it dribble out? Although he didnt really seem to answer that.

I normally lie there for ten mins before going to the loo though. Or once DH tipped me upside down as a joke for about 30 seconds doing a headstand :rotfl:I did get pregnant though from one of those times so cant say I wont be doing that again..

I actually read on one website you shouldnt put a pillow underneath you, something to do with the way your cervix is tilted can actually make it worse or something? I think id need a diagram to understand though :rotfl:
