Trying for a Baby Part 9

Hi Chelsea
I had the implant, so a bit different from you. But it's taken me around 5 months to get some regularity back to my cycles. If I had realised that it would take so long I would certainly have had it removed earlier. So if it's no problem to use another form of contraception until October I would stop the pill now:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Hi Chelsea. I agree with Lara, if I had known how long it would take for my body to get back to normal I'd have come off the pill much sooner than I did.
I'd stop taking the pill either now or in the next couple of months before TTC in October.
Loulou, I've got no idea but if I were you'd have have gone to the doctor by now to get a blood test just to make sure there's nothing there that isn't getting picked up by HPTs/something not quite right.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Today is ganging up on me, it's CD1 and I have horrendous cramping, have been called in to do a night shift tonight, have run out of milk for tea and it's snowing so too cold to want to go for work or milk :rotfl:
ETA: Lou, I have NO idea what's going on with that OPK! Hope someone else can be more useful to you (and you get a nice big BFP tonight!)0 -
Fanny, I only get light lines on OPKs so maybe you're like me and they just don't go very dark? Keep POAS and checking other signs, but it does sound promising!
Well done on the 5% loss too! :T
Sorry to interrogate your Birdie but....
Do you mean you only get light lines when it’s showing that you’re ovulating or about to?
Or do you mean that you always have a light line – even when you know you’re nowhere near ovulation?
As you can tell I’m slightly obsessed about this whole light line situation0 -
Sorry Fanny, I should have been clearer!
I get blanks when they should be blank and when I'm OVing get really faint lines. When I first bought my CBFM I did an OPK the day I got my peak thinking that *finally* I'd see a proper dark line as I must have been doing it all wrong before... and the line was still faint! Trust me to be awkward!
CBFM is a Godsend for me!

You weren't being unclear. I thought you meant that but in my obsessive state I wanted to double check lol.
This gives me hope that I am / or am about to ovulate. I don't think I've ovulated for two years so this is AMAZING *dances with excitement*0 -

Ohhh!. That is very intersting Birdie. I decided not to buy a CBFM because I never get anything but a faint line around ov so I thought a CBFM wouldn't work for me....might have to save up the pennies:D
TCD - Sorry you are having such a rotten time of it. Hope you get some definative answers soon.
Vic - Did af arrive? You stopped temping.
Amyloofoo - Big hugs for cd1 and the universe ganging up.
Loulou - hope you figure it out soon. Did you definately ovulate this month?
Welcome to all the newbies.
afm. OH and I decided to take the clomid this month. If children are not to be in our future we agreed that we wanted to say that we tried everything. Have to have a folly tacking scan on day12 and a day 21 blood test. My previous blood tests have all shown low or borderline progesterone so I am hoping the clomid gives us the boost we need.0 -
Hello again ladies,
Sorry I've been AWOL for a couple of months as we stopped actively trying. But we had a chat last night about or plans for the next few years. He finally popped the question after 8 years in February and we're planning on getting wed towards the end of next year but don't want to wait till after for trying for number 2. So we thought we do it now, which is good timing as after nearly 6 months off the pill I'm back to my normal cycles. I hope you'll have me back...
Off to do some catch up reading and see what I missed
Thanks
TL

Lou Lou that is so confusing. I'm not sure what you should apart from see the dr maybe. Sorry I have no idea. You can get ovulation spotting but you seem to have been having it for a while?0

Welcome to all the newbies
Loulou - I think you should definitely see your doctor now, whatever is going on it might be best to get some advice
Amyloo = hugs for CD1
Chelsea - I would stop now if I were you. Wish I had stopped sooner, no one ever mentions that your cycles may end up messed up when you start the pill!0
