Hubby will be home soon with the test and then I'll know if its positive (which I still think is unlikely even after the weird ov test) I'll be straight on phone to out of hours docs - as I don't think everything is "right" if I am pregnant.
If its negative then at least I know I'm not pregnant and I'll still call docs first thing on Monday morning (or over weekend if anything new happens...)
I know I've buried my head in sand a bit over this, but I'm just not one to go to docs unless I REALLY REALLY have to, but I also know I've been bit silly leaving it...0 -

How odd. I posted earlier and it's disappeared.
Chelsea - coming off the pill. It's different for every woman. Some get pregnant right away, while it can take others months or even a year. It's probably worth coming off it if you're happy with other types of contraception but you never know, you might be one of the lucky ones.
loulou I hope you get to the bottom of what's going on. Please don't ignore things like this because of work though.
AFM, spotting has stopped but really grumpy and crampy. AF is due somewhere between Monday - Thursday so I've packed my emergency tampons in my handbag.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Preg test BFN - so god knows what ov strip was showing up!
Will call docs on Monday morning and try to get appointment same day, as I've had enough now and want to know what's going on.
Thanks for all the support ladies xx0 -

What cd are you on? Is it at all possible you could be ovulating now?0 -
Lou lou, for whatever it's worth, I wouldn't be rushing to the docs either. I think you didn't ov when you thought you might've last cycle and you're probably gearing up for it now, again/instead. I've had mid cycle spotting, as have ladies on here, particularly with pcos etc. Although frustrating, I wouldn't be worried unless it was happening frequently. Of course if you are worried, there's no reason not to consult a doctor
Tcod, sorry to hear about your dh's sample tooyou're more than welcome over on the 12m+ thread, whenever you want/are ready. It is a grieving process, so for now, be kind to yourself.
AFM: After some discussion, dh and I have decided to look into applying to foster little ones sooner rather than later!if we do need/go for ivf it won't get started til at least the end of this year, and who knows how many rounds/long it might take... We don't want to look back and feel like we've wasted years just hoping and waiting for a child to miraculously drop into our family - we've got too much to give for that. We're probably going to go for emergency/short term placements, so if we did get pregnant it wouldn't be such a problem to take a break from it for a while (we've wanted to foster regardless of biological children). It takes at least 6 months to get approved anyway, so plenty of time to see what happens naturally too.

I'm sure it's been asked many times before on this thread, but what ovulation tests are the best? I'm looking for some that are easyish to use and not too expensive.0

I use the ones on the Home Health website. They're really cheap. They're the ones with the green ends.

I use the home health ones too- started off with the digis but far too expensive and the cheapies work just as well.0
