Trying for a Baby Part 9

Oh Trina that's fantastic news, so pleased for you!
fingers crossed everything goes ok.
Code, re your highlighted bit, I have a similar problem (if you want to call it a problem). I'm convinced my lining is non-existent. I've heard raspberry leaf tea is good for improving your lining but I can't find anything about how much you're supposed to have or if you're only meant to have it up to ov or what.
Re the whole orange/crystals etc thing. I have a bright orange sofa and we have BD on it and that didn't work :rotfl:0 -

Vic if you read page 17 of this http://apps.who.int/medicinedocs/documents/s16713e/s16713e.pdf#page=17
Basically it's saying that in some scientific studies it was shown to shorten the follicular phase of the cycle and lengthen the luteal phase without lengthening the cycle overall over 3 months of study. H&B website is carp- the vitamins they sell don't claim anything on the side of them either (I bought my AC and inositol from there) which makes you wonder if we're all just buying into a load of placebos...
My GP friend had LP defect (a 7 day LP) and treated herself with soy isoflavones (I've seen some people refer to them as nature's version of clomid- I've never taken either though so couldn't comment on that!) which lengthened it to 14 days. Her little girl is nearly 2 now.0 -
Tia it's only online so far but it's two doors down from my gran' s old house and has the exact same layout, so I already know what it's like and the area and things which isn't helping lol
We've just moved in with parents to save a deposit and for a 5% deposit for that place I only need to wait til the end of March. It's just really well priced and recently renovated it looks like a right bargain even at asking price xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Tea I now have an image of someone in a big warehouse full of empty bottles just getting deliveries of pills and chucking them in any old bottle lol
I tried soy isoflavones but they didn't seem to do anything plus to get a high dose you have to take like ten pills a time from the h and b ones I got lol xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Hi everyone - congrats to the BFPs
Can I be updated to 1dpo please?
Nothing to report here really, got lots of BDing in over last few days, so just keeping my fingers crossed now really!0 -
Thanks teaandcake, I am relatively new amongst this crowd on here. How do you calculate the LP? Everyone on here is so knowledgable - I dont think I even know that that is!!! Think I simply ruled this month out due to not seeing the OH and actually dtd at all  and also I only came off the pill in Dec and have only had one period since.
You say knowledgeable- I say obsessed. :rotfl:
AF (aunt flo aka period) 101:- CD1 is the day your period starts- this is regardless of if you're on the pill or not. If you have a 'normal' textbook cycle of 28 days and a 3 day bleed and a 14 day LP (luteal phase) you would expect to ovulate on CD14. So the days before ovulation and after AF (CD3- CD13) are called the follicular phase which is when your ovaries are cooking your eggs ready for launch. CD14- EGG LAUNCH otherwise known as 0dpo (days past ovulation)! CD15- CD28 (1dpo to 14dpo) is your luteal phase (otherwise known as the 2ww/ two week wait) which is when fertilisation and implantation (usually between 7-12dpo) will occur. You can calculate your LP relatively easily if you know exactly when you ovulated either from OPKs, temperature changes, checking CM and many other techniques that are out there (ferning etc.).
When did you come off the pill? Did you have a 'normal' withdrawal bleed when you did followed by a 'cycle' with a non pill regulated AF at the end?
The Fertility Friend website which some of us use to chart bbt (basal body temperatures) and cm (cervical mucus) changes and any other symptoms is free to join and has a really good introduction of TTC which makes a lot more sense than the infant school breakdown I've just given! :rotfl:
