Re the whole orange/crystals etc thing. I have a bright orange sofa and we have BD on it and that didn't work :rotfl:

Read this and nearly choked from laughing so hard! Explained the background to it to a very confused looking DH and then he got it. :rotfl:

We have tentatively scheduled dtd tonight for stress relief purposes. ;)

There's the link becca, please don't buy it first! Lol if I was braver I would book a viewing and put in an offer but I scaredy cat and its vacant so they'd want it to be quick. I'll just have to hope x

That house is lovely TeamLowe - you're lucky to live in an area with such reasonable prices! I know it's not suitable for everyone and not all families will have the means, but if your parents are supportive then have you considered the Family Springboard mortgage http://www.barclays.co.uk/Mortgages/FamilySpringboardMortgage/P1242627640100 ? I know DH's parents would help in this way if we found somewhere so perfect, but until then we're busy saving :) Don't be scared to book a viewing either - they won't mind and may be more flexible than you're expecting.
  • I second everyone else Teamlowe go and view it. Speak to the estate agents and see what sort of time scale the sellers are looking at to shift it. It might be a repossession in which case you may be able to find a human in a bank who'll wait for a full offer... :)

TL - looks good. If it's the right price & right location, get a viewing booked. End March would be the earliest you would complete on it.

If you don't view, the EA don't know you are interested (assuming you still are after a viewing). Then there's a chance that someone else views, puts in a cheeky offer & is accepted as they think no-one else is interested.

That's true! I could at least show interest

Worst that could happen is we end up not getting it...but if we wait we might not get it either. So might as well :)

We'll have to look at others too to make sure...ooh getting excited about actually being able to look! You girls are a bad influence lol x x

  • You're very restrained teamlowe. I'd have arranged all my furniture in there (in my mind) and started redecorating by now (I am a diy nightmare- I just can't leave stuff alone...) :)

Congratulations to Trina and any other BFPs I've missed in the last week or so. Hope you all have uneventful pregnancies.

Becca - good luck for SA results tomorrow.

Teamlowe - that house is gorgeous! Love the decoration and kitchen and looks like a right bargain for the price. Echoing everyone else saying to book a viewing.

Been quite busy here, though have been reading and lurking when I can. Think I'll be testing Saturday if AF doesn't rear its head before then. Having my usual pre-AF cramps and mood swings though so not holding out much hope.

Linz, it's probably just psychosomatic or coming-off-the-pill symptoms, at this stage. It can take as short as a couple of weeks or as long as 18 months for your cycles to settle down after the pill/hormonal birth control. I would just test maybe once a week, with your first wee of the day, but settle in for it being a few weeks.

Teamlowe, looks lovely.:D Great living room size. Go view :D Feel 'em out. You're braver than me though, identifying where you might be living on an open forum _pale_:o

Becca, you've put maire down for 2 bfps ;) I think the second one was trina's. Good luck for the results tomorrow
