Bossy, Mini-bossys and bossy-in-laws.. you are all in my thoughts today.. I hope you can all find comfort together today and remember the amazing man he was. I have bossed OH to light a candle for you all and DH and also LL and our bestest Diva and MLB (another flylady who sadly passed away a couple of years ago..) and AnWnMum and Deco and Toots and LW.. Gosh there are so many amazing flyladies on here past and present.. it is quite humbling to see how you all battle on when I am moaning about putting away the laundry and having to take Tiddles glasses to be fixed already!

I think we should designate a 'no moaning' day as a sign of support to these amazing people!

I agree completely - it's humbling when you think of these amazing women and what they went through/are going through. No moaning from me today ...

    Excellent no moaning it is.

I've spoken to DS2's teacher about doing his CA another time
Cleaned out cupboard under the kitchen sink
    Put towels on to wash
    Tidied and dusted LR
    Dusted hallway
Put a few bits from the very messy dining room and kitchen away.

Just having a break and then cleaning the shower room next, after putting the towels on the line.

  • i think we all have a moan now and then but its humbling to have it put in perspective by how admirably some people cope with the amounts that are piled on their plates.

  • What a difference HHC can make! Looking much better here already; just got a load of dry washing to put away and then a Hoover through :)

I am having a moan about the 11 towels on the bathroom floor!!!! What is so hard about putting them in the wash basket?

4 boxes sorted to go in the loft.. I am not traumatising OH by making him bin stuff but he can put it in the loft, it is all packed up in binbags inside boxes or plastic stacking crates... I NEED my bedroom floor back.. 3 years of these half dead crisp boxes sitting untouched is more than enough.

    WM on
6 piles of babies washing away and 1 of mine and OH's
    Td on
    1 load folded
Middle room vaccuumed (delegated to OH)

Back to do another box of flinging in my room.. I want to see my radiator for start!

I have a pile of stuff to fling on ebay too.

I've given up trying to clean, I will blitz it all when I can see what I am cleaning! Decluttering first.

I've been watching that on your list, mrs-mp, and thinking "I've got to sew a button on DH's jacket". When you said you'd done it today, I went and dealt with DH's jacket button and another that came off his trousers yesterday. Thank you for giving me the nudge!
    :T

OJM said he was coming today but there's no sign of him yet. That makes it hard for me to settle to anything. But I have already

    - emptied bins
    - put out the dustbins
    - fed birds
    - had breakfast with DH
    - S&S'd kitchen
    - wiped worktops
    - found and sewn on 2 replacement buttons
    - S&S'd bathroom
    - stripped bed: DH is on Warfarin and had a nosebleed last night :(
    - put in 2 loads of washing and hung one out on the line to blow - the WM is just doing the second load - two more loads to go
    - put away the results of last night's HHI (mainly shirts)
    - decided what to cook tonight (slow roast pork shoulder)
    - found a card to send thanks to brother and SiL for a nice lunch on Saturday
    - decided on my further priorities for today...

    ...which are:

    - finish all washing and hanging out - it's a good drying day, windy but sunny
    - put website papers in a separate file
    - clear my desk of all other clutter (a few things do have a permanent place there)
    - write card
    - write thank you letter for charity donation
    - email newsletter to home group members
    - email H re course
    - email S&L
    - VIP = Very Important Paperwork (which will take some time to complete)
    - relist some unsold eB@y items
    - list more on eB@y
    - prepare a nice meal for this evening :D
    - vacuum mattress before re-making bed
    - QHI this evening
    - help DH fill his hospital bag
    - remember not to expect him to eat breakfast with me tomorrow (he's to fast from midnight)

A dear friend has just phoned me so that's HHC = Half Hour Chatting decluttered! and meanwhile WM load 2 is done.

:coffee: to be made as soon as I've hung out these bedclothes....

Special (((hugs))) to Bossy and the little moos
Love and prayers to LL and her family.
Anti-sickness / GUAG / GWS vibes / spoons / (((hugs))) to all who need them.
Skint aka Daisy please relax occasionally and look after Holly's needs.

its good when we can help each other in this way isnt it:)

its like last night if pigpen hadnt sent the call out for people to join her 15min challenge i wouldnt have set to and clean the mouse and fish tank- it took longer than 15 mins but if she hadnt have made the call it wouldnt have got started let alone done yesterday.

just decluttered DS1s room of abandoned cans crisp packets and packs of sarnis, must ask if if im wasting my time and food doing him pack up as hes obviously not eating it. need o find out what he is having to eat at college, he eats like a horse at home so cant believe he lasts the day on nothing.

    cross stitch now framed

table half way to being cleared.

trying to find paperwork to see if theres a governors meeting tonight, or if i have knitting and stitchy time

  • Hello again! Got plenty done this morning, including chewing on a frog. Still not resolved - awaiting a call back from a nurse, who may or may not be able to resolve the situation :o At least I'll know where we stand and can move onto the next (much bigger) frog :)

Going to warm up some soup, and update my list :j
