How much are the defaults for ?
    How old are they ?
  • One default was for £31 and is about 2 years old. The other is for £299 from a year ago. Both are satisfied.
  • I applied for creation on wensday last week for their flybe card, 19, 22k a year, and today I have phone them up again, they said underwriters are now looking at my application - today.

    Hmm, what you reckon?

Depends what your Equifax credit file is like.

Just out of interest if you made an application for a creation card on say 20/02/13 and you was automatically accepted.

Then if you applied for a second creation card within a few days would the second application automatically be referred?

Ill wait and see im too scared to call

I was auto accepted for the Asda Money credit card on Wednesday, however my application for the Marriott has been referred this evening.

Im guessing the underwriters only work during office hours.

I didn't even make a note of the reference number grrrr.

    These are very recent.

They'll likely need to be three years old at least before Barclaycard will even consider you for their basic card.

Capital One should be a little more lenient, but still just one year is a very very short time to have passed.
