I've been pleased with all the brushes I've had from Crown Brushes. might be worth a look?
  • Nothing to add, but I'm, upto date with reading the thread. Phew! :)

I don't have much to add either. I have lost my motivation to moisturise and need to get it back!

hammyham- I'm doing exactly the same with my nail varnishes! I am using them one by one and seeing if I like the colour and keep or throw.....I only paint my toes as i cant wear nail varnish at work. I inherited a lot from my daughter who doesnt wear it at all.....I can now see the big difference between the cheap ones and the better quality ones. Good luck!

What under eye concealers do people recommend? I am thinking about buying the YSL Touche Eclat one but wondered about other (maybe cheaper!) suggestions. I have horrendous dark circles under my eyes, not really any bags but I often look like I have been punched in the face!!:rotfl:

Evening everyone. No UU to report yet here but lots of things are spluttering! Will probably finish my shower gel in the next week or so and I think I have one more use out of my body scrub before that's done. I have also almost finished an eyeshadow and I've hit pan on my Benefit Coralista blush!

Have been quite ill this week but I am about to pamper myself before cooking dinner for me and OH. It's going to be the first proper meal I've eaten all week!

I have used YSL Touche Eclat but thought it was a bit chalky and thin (and expensive!).

I now use Collection 2000's version which is around £5 and has a slightly thicker consistency and is better imo :)

I've been using the Maybelline Dream Lumi one and it's pretty good. It covers everything I want it to and the colour is a good match. Oh and it doesn't crease on me.

I don't really have one to recommend, but suggest if you can, that you do the rounds of the make up counters and get the SA's to try their product on you, I have only tried a few and then gave up, as they seemed to make me look worse somehow, and it will depend so much on your colouring and skin texture, some of them can look really cakey. Hopefully others may offer some starting points for you, but they are pretty expensive to buy without some hope that it will work for you.

Nothing to report here really - my Avon order is due tomorrow. I am really looking forward to using the new foot cream.
I used a mix of Avon Care Nourishing formula body lotion and lanolin this morning as I've run out of everything else I could apply apart from aqueous cream . The lanolin is so sticky but the Avon lotion is one of the best I have used, I really love it. The only downside is that it has to be stored upside down to come out of the bottle, it's so thick.
