Excellent, I will have a look. Yep mine are bad too. Dont know how to get rid of them :mad:0 -

What under eye concealers do people recommend? I am thinking about buying the YSL Touche Eclat one but wondered about other (maybe cheaper!) suggestions. I have horrendous dark circles under my eyes, not really any bags but I often look like I have been punched in the face!!:rotfl:
I have tried quite a few after my HG one was discontinued. I have quite dark circles. I liked the Clinique pen to be very good but it is pricey. I much cheaper one I really liked was L'Oeal Highlighting pen. I didn't get on with the Bobbi Brown one.
I had a bit of a clearout the other day. Sick of seeing some shampoo and conditioners that I haven't even opened. So now I am focusing on SLS free products so 6 GAs.

Just popping in to report a few GA's:
Anatomicals orange blossom shower gel
Avon shampoo
Avon conditioner
TBS Shea soap
TBS Vitamin E soap
TBS selection of mini soaps
3 tins of dry shampoo.
Ren skincare set.
Gave these all to my mom- I figure she'll get more use out of them rather than having them sit in my toiletries box.0 -
Thanks for the quick responses ladies. I will have a look around and try some out. I have tried an under eye roll on one before by Garnier and didn't think that did anything apart from make me look worse! Also tried boing concealer by Benefit but again seemed to make me look worse!
I was about to recommend that one lol! A good trick is to go for a lighter shade than you normally would to brighten under your eyes, you can then put powder on the top to match it to the rest of your faceNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

evening everyone,
have quite a few splutters at the moment so some more UU coming....oh and a bar of soap that seems to have been on the go for ever!! (very bored of it now!)
Im off on Sunday for a city break and getting excited chosing which travel toiletries to take lol....oh and fitting them all in a timy weeny bag is not so good!
Sounds lovely. Where are you going?hammyham- I'm doing exactly the same with my nail varnishes! I am using them one by one and seeing if I like the colour and keep or throw.....I only paint my toes as i cant wear nail varnish at work. I inherited a lot from my daughter who doesnt wear it at all.....I can now see the big difference between the cheap ones and the better quality ones. Good luck!
I tend to use the ones I don't like so much on my toes. Have just repainted my finger nails in OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons which is going to be a TA now. It's a mini bottle and I think I've got the last out of it. Have already repurchased a full size of this for Emma as she likes wearing it for school/work. It actually looks nicer on her as well - looking more like a nude whereas on me it looks beige IYKWIM.What under eye concealers do people recommend? I like Benefit Boing and Erase Paste however last time I ran out in the run up to Christmas couldn't afford either of these so went for the Tesco F&F one which is pretty good too.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Just wanted to say that I've been inspired by this thread! I haven't bought any toiletries for a while now and I finished a shampoo this morning and am just about to finish a jar of face cream.
I think what helped me was to put most of the toiletries away and just use one of each till they are finished and then take out another to replace it, rahtre than using a bit of everything. Also, I now have a set routine of what I use and when which also helps.
I've definitely saved money because of this thread :jso thanks all.
You're welcome. I've got to the point myself (although it's taken a lot longer than it has for you!!) whereby I can't be bothered buying anything unless I've run out of it. I had the voucher for £2.00 off the new Superdrug B serum but then when I looked at it again saw I had to spend £10.00 to get the discount! Before my LBM I'd have found it fun picking something else but it just became a mither because I know what products I like now and didnt want to spend more on something I didn't want to save only £2.00 IYKWIM.I'm just popping in to say Hi and Byejust putting the finishing touches to my packing as off tomorrow for a week. Have taken lots of small sample and travel sizes with me so hopefully they will all be UU while I'm away
Have a lovely time.
It was my birthday yesterday and MrM gave me the other 2 x Elemis kits that he bought at Christmas time so I had some more INs: PCMC x 2, Evening Blooms body oil x 2, Nourishing milk shower cream x 2 (opened one of these yesterday morning), Gentle Rose Exfoliator x 2, Quiet Mind Elixir x 2, Pro Radiance Cleanser x 2.
My workmates collectively gave me a Boots gift card worth £15.00 which I was v pleased with and singularly they also bought me flowers, chocs and wine which I thought was really lovely of them too. Think I'm gonna treat myself to a new Smashbox eyeliner pallette as I used to have one and loved it.
The Nexus 7 is fab as well although I didn't get much chance to look at it as Emma was "setting it up" for me.
Have a lovely day all. Only 5 completions for us today. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Morning!
A UU and a TA for me....
Bio Oil Large Bottle 200ml - UU, WBA but I have two more in the stash!
Botanics Soothing eye make-up remover 150ml - TA, I persevered through 2/3 of the bottle but it was just too greasy and irritated my sensitive eyes so I poured the rest down the sink. Now using the No7 one instead! You're welcome.
