No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in Feb

Hope you had a lovely birthday VALM :bdaycake:

I've another two GA - No 7 Beautifull Skin Day Cream and Botanics Mattifying Cleansing Mousse - WNBA either. After stopping using the night cream about a week ago, my skin is still really irritated on my face and neck, feels itchy and sore quite often and is red after washing. I'm sure one of these, if not both, is still irritating it so didn't use either this morning and does seem better. The day cream is quite strongly fragranced and stands to reason I might have a problem if the night cream was too much for me - used quite a bit of this already but will give the rest to Mum. The mousse I hate anyway it just feels like it does nothing at all - the No. 7 foaming cleanser is so much nicer and leaves your face feeling really clean - well worth the extra. I'll probably give this to OH as he seems to be developing a bit of a skincare habit as he worries about his frown lines :rotfl: it was only cheap on offer so I haven't wasted much money but proves a lesson that when I've already found a HG I'm better off sticking to it!

In work tomorrow but its overtime so doesn't really count as none of the usual weekday demands and then I'm off for a week - going to stay with my sister. New boiler being fitted whilst I am away so hopefully I'll come back to a toasty home at long last :j:j:j Although OH cheerfully predicts that something bad will happen?! Ever the optimist! A million and one things to do tonight first but will all be worth it when I can chill out (not literally for once) tomorrow night

VAL , so pleased that you had a good birthday. My daughter LOVES her tablet, I'm resisting so far...
Waiting for my Avon order. In case it doesn't arrive (she often delivers late) I bought a little 50ml pot of Nivea (so cute!) from Poundland for use on my feet.
I looked for specialist foot creams, but unusually there weren't any -and at least I know what I'm getting with Nivea. That's my first buy of the year, I think!

Nivea Double Effect deodorant - WBA but have opened another in the stash hehe

TBS Rainforest Radiance Shampoo Mini - this was a freebee with O2 priority moments. WNBA, it's not awful or anything I just have others I prefer. I have another and the 1 and a half of the conditioners that came with it, they're fit for purpose and fine for free stuff

and another mini - Clinique rinse-off foaming cleanser WMBA, I love Clinique stuff and it suits my skin, but I find it hard to justify the expense when you can get face washes for a couple of quid that do the job.

And no INs!! So far anyway lol

think I've got mini toiletries ready for my city break on Sunday,

GA 75ml sanctuary body wash to my daughter who is going away for a few nights too
UU - 15ml sanctuary foot souffle, love this and smells great, I have about another 4 foot creams to use up in the stash and I dont think I need seperate foot creams but will review when I've used them all up!
UU 150ml body lotion was a tescos one that I can only assume I got in a set as a present?? no idea lol....it did the job but really nothing special

Lush Breath of Fresh Air Toner 100g WBA absolutely loved it, think i will be sticking to Lush Cleansers and Toners once my stash of cleansers has been UU.

The Body Shop Vitamin C radiance capsules - WNBA, I got them free thanks to a BS glitch a while ago but they're not my cup of tea. I expected them to be like the Vit C spf 30 moisturiser which smells gorgeous and energizes my skin, but this smelt of warm concentrated orange juice rather than fresh orange and did nothing to my skin, plus I had to use two capsules to get enough for my face. So the remaining 24 capsules can go to someone else.
