    2 more UU

Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender Ultra-moisturising Hand Therapy 25ml WBA really loved this hand cream, hand cream stash is definitely going down now.
Santaverde Aloe Vera Cleansing Gel 100ml WNBA hated it, as it really dried my skin out.

Have a few more splutterers so will hopefully have more UU to come.

Sounds nasty moromir, was it a side effect of the vaccinations?
    Hope you're ok now!

Could you use a warm, damp flannel to get rid of the blood?

On the toiletry front, I have sold 8 items on ebay so they will be posted on Monday :)

Also UU batiste dry shampoo original, WBA always need this for my hair, but will buy one of the other fragrances.

Off for a bath in a min as BF is taking me out for belated valentines meal :D
This is because I had to do parents eve on Thurs :(
    Addicted to MSE, I can't resist a bargain ;)
  • Ouch Moromir! I hope you're ok xxx

UU to report which was a very long LHJ - Tresemme Colour Fade Protection Conditioner, 900ml - WBA but not yet as I have another in stash. I stocked up when superslug were selling them for less than half price which they do from time to time :)

  • Well done for having your first flight alone in those conditions Rosemary!! Glad you had a good time!

Moromir That sounds horrendous!! Duid they warn you of the side effects beforehand, or was it not related? I've fainted before just at the sight of a needle though :o but nothing that serious!

I second the warm wet towel idea, and maybe rub some shampoo into the towel too? Just make sure you don't touch the wound with it if you see what I mean? Or if the towel is too rough, and I know this is going to sound weird, try dampening a clean sanitary towel, that possibly would't be as irritating?

On the beauty side, I have decided to give my mother a manicure kit for Mothers' Day, as her hands are awful! (Parents have an allotment, 'nuff said) Now the shop bought ready done for you ones are nice, but then I realised I have stuff still in it's packaging that I don't need. So am going to make up some of it from the things I already have, which leaves me a bigger budget to buy the rest!!

So in it I have put so far: (all these things are brand new and unopened in case anyone wonders :p)
nail clippers still in packaging (the QVC ones), 2 padded nail files, a bottle of lemon cuticle oil, 1 pair tweezers, 1 cuticle hoof and a cuticle clipper. All put into a cosmetic bag that came with a gift set ages ago and has been sat idle all that time.

So a) I can't believe how many extra "tools" I have!! :p Can I use these towards my "Outs"? and b) should I count the cuticle oil and possibly the other stuff as February ones because I have put it to one side today, or March as that is when I'll give it away?

I haven't put in a spare hand cream as I absolutely love the spare I have and have been trying to use the cheapy one up so I can get to it, and mum prefers another brand - is that really bad?

So that means I just need to buy her nail varnish, a ridge filling base coat and one of those multiway buffers, a nail brush and a handcream. AND I can get her better quality nail varnish because I have more money to work with. Yay :money:

If I had nail varnish in the stash I'd give those to her, but I don't wear it, it's the one thing I don't have :rotfl:

Yeouch. That's sound painful. I hope it heals stat.

Maybe a clensing wipe or baby wipe would do the trick. Wrapped around your fingers you won't get the wound wet but you would get at the dried blood on the hair? Or an antiseptic wipe if you have any of those to hand or a nearby open Boots/big supermarket and someone to get it for you.

UU's. Aquafresh not very effective WNBA and Oral B Pro-Expert of Awesomeness. WBA if I didn't still have ten different fang pastes in the stash to get through.

Well I've had an interesting weekend. Went to the doctors last night to get pre Japan vaccinations, went to reception after to book in for the second course, next thing I know i'm seriously wondering why I can see the light fittings and people's faces at the same time...

I managed to pass out and crack my head open like an egg, blood everywhere. I got to ride in an ambulance which I never have before :D

On a beauty related note, they've managed to superglue me back together to save having to shave chunks of my hair off for stitches.

Anyone any tips for getting blood out of hair? My hairs solid with it but I cant get the wound wet cos the glue will disolve, grr.

Ouch!! Sounds horrible - hope you're feeling better now? As for the blood in the hair, i would ask your GP. If you're not meant to get it wet even a damp cloth might cause something? I think it'd be best to be careful as you wouldn't want another trip back =/ I'm glad you enjoyed the ambulance lol. I've only been in one once during labour - that was horrendous as they took a route which meant alot of corners and bumps. Brilliant when you're in the middle of contractions and a baby trying to come out :rotfl:! I hope your head is better :)

Out OUT - Colgate Sensitive Pro-relief toothpaste. WMBA - it's okay, but it doesn't freshen your breath and i haven't found a long term relief from sensitivity like it says it provides. I got it in poundland anyway so no loss there. I now have maccleans on the go, also from poundland which i much prefer for fresh breath :D
