No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in Feb

Gosh have just had to have an epic catch up! Have had a ridiculously stressful day (do you ever feel as though people just go out of their way to annoy and upset you!?) so this has been rather soothing!
moromir - looking forward to seeing you get on with all the different wipes!
kadison - thanks for the advice on the eye cream making eyes puffy, mine have been a bit puffy recently and I'm wondering if it's due to me using a cream! also, the les mis songs are very catchy, me and my bf keep getting the one about angry men in our head, singing it, and then the other one can't get it out of theirs! It's been nearly three weeks since we saw it haha!
littlejem and cookiemonsta - I have really pale skin and swear by doublewear! recently I've branched out a bit and tried revlon colorstay in ivory (colour is fantastic, coverage is good but not quite as good as dw, but is half the price).
I've also tried ysl le teint touche eclat foundation in b10 and br10. I didn't think I would like this as it's quite sheer and I have some bad scarring on my face, but it's lovely! It very nearly covers up everything, but it doesn't look like I'm wearing anything and my skin glows (but not in a sweaty gross way!). I'd really recommend it, and if you go to a ysl counter they should hopefully match you up and give you a mini bottle to try
I also quite like MAC Studiofix in nw15 - but it is quite expensive and I'm on the look out for a decent dupe
Charlotte, I'm so sorry about your crash! Hope you're doing ok
Right, now down to business
I have 3 UU's - 1. Lush bathbomb - I probably WNBA. I really like Lush bathbomb's but I usually have showers and they're a bit too expensive for me. Lovely to receive as a gift though.
2. Vaseline deoderant - WBA, I think most deo's are fine on me.
3. Toothbrush at Bf's house - was time to be replaced!
And I also have 10 IN's - though all free samples - thank you VALM, as one was the JC Flash!
Hope you're all well and sorry for the epic post!

Hi ladies!
UUs are thin on the ground here at the minute, but I was lamenting my lack of Nivea blue cream for my feet earlier tonight when I realised that I had two Sanctuary Intensive Heel Creams in the cupboard I had almost forgotten about. Result! :j
Oh, I also found a Sanctuary Moisture Boosting Mask so I popped that on and am just off to scrub it off. It felt lovely and thick going on and rubbed in nice and easily, so lets see what the results are when it is offPlease call me 'Pickle'

Sorry to hear you've had a rotten day
I've been singing that too! "Will you join in our crusade, who will be strong and stand with me, somewhere beyond the barricades is there a world you long to see? I don't buy dedicated foot creams unless they're in a set (I also prefer to use the normal Nivea creme!) but I am using up the last of a tube of the Sanctuary one and I have to say it's very good, my feet are so soft now! Plus it doesn't reek of peppermint like so many foot creams! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Morning folks.
I have just opened a gwp size Clarins foot cream and it is heavenly, I don't know how much it is but it is a real pleasure to use.
It is snowing a bit here in Yorkshire and we are to expect a load of it lunchtime ish for the afternoon. Hope if it snows where you are you all stay safe.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Morning ladies, it is snowing heavily here (south Shropshire), even though weather forecast indicated that it would only snow in the north of the county:eek:. TBH although it is pretty, I think I have had enough of it now!
Cold winds and a possible reaction to product(s) unknown mean I have red blotchy patches on my face again, off to look out all the really mild stuff to use for a few days. So when I opened an e-mail about a starter kit of Trilogy products this morning it has made me really tempted to try it, one of the big draws is they state that they do not animal test or use animal tested ingredients.
I tried the Perricone No Foundation Foundation yesterday, (I already had the blotches and it did not sting), but it made my face look dull and sort of grubby, will try it again today before I totally decide, but ATM the Maybelline BB cream wins hands down, looks really dewy on my skin and just the right amount of coverage. The medium suits my pale skin now, but not sure if I might need something slightly darker for the summer. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
One small UU from me! Nivea 'soft' cream. Although it can be used as a facial moisturiser I feel its too strongly perfumed for that and I've used it as a hand cream.
Can't actually remember if it was on my stash list or if it was an uncounted one but I have a couple more in stash
Wouldn't buy separately but was in one of those 'cracker' boxes that you get at Christmas (and in the sales afterwards) so would buy in a sale pack againNo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -

I've used up a nail varnish remover today but as that's a necessity for me I've had to replace it.
What I didn't need to also buy today though was two new lipsticks, some make up primer, MUA palette (similar to the Naked one) and two nail varnishes. I actually got all of my nail varnishes out when I got home and I have FIFTY FIVE
I have that MUA palette as well and love it. I stopped counting my nail lacquers when I got past 100!Morning ladies, it is snowing heavily here (south Shropshire), even though weather forecast indicated that it would only snow in the north of the county:eek:. Has not stopped snowing all day in Hyde, Tameside where I work. It looks pretty swirling past the windows though.
I have the Maybelline BB cream as well and whilst I like it think I prefer a primer as my pores show with the BB cream. It's lovely in itself though.
Emma made me laugh yesterday. I gave her a GWP kit from Rimmel at Christmas which included a sachet of their BB cream. She tried it yesterday knowing that it was meant to adjust to her skin tone. She said on application it looked a good match but then when it developed it went orange. She took a photo of herself to show me and I fell about laughing cos at the time she was wearing her onesie and looked like an Umpah Lumpah! Won't be switching to Rimmel any time soon.
I have two more UUs today:-
Conditioned from Sublime Mousse kit. Was lovely actually.
Philosophy Eternal Grace shower gel. Very nice but as said before I prefer Amazing and Pure (Grace).
Keep warm everyone. xxBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Snow here too, yet again. It started falling around 10 this morning and is still falling steadily.
Interesting reading on the foot creams. I should have a new Avon one arrive Friday, a 150 ml size, hope it works well as it's going to last a while..
Small UU's - Boots' Gorgeous Feet Foot Scrub 50ml - the final bit of the set I got at Christmas.
WIB? Probably not. It was fine, but other scrubby products will be cheaper, I am sure. I did enjoy using it and overall, I was delighted with the range. I'll be using the BS Strawberry Body Polish I was gifted as foot scrub next.
Used the Sanex deeply moisturising bath cream for very dry skin as a foot soak and was fairly underwhelmed. It got my feet soaked but I didn't notice any extra moisturising effects.
Second UU - Aldi Lacura 5% Urea Facial Cream for dry skin.
WIBA? This was a gift from DD, some time ago. It's a little heavy for me and with no SPF is probably more suited to being a night cream. Very pleasant to use though.
I so wish the Aldi Urea range would come back on special. The foot cream was great.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again...
