Hi all, just todays posts have been funny to read, i'm glad everyone seems to be having a better week!
Rosemary - hope you have a lovely holiday, i'd kill for some sun atm!
Ems - congrats on sorting out your housing problem, hopefully you'll get your heating sorted soon and ditch the poor man baths :rotfl:
And to everyone else who needs it: things will look up soon! Don't let the smiles disappear
Still OT, but i'm having a great end to the week! Finally after working at the same shop for 3 years i got more hours on my contractIt's only 6 more, but with a baby now i needed more than my previous minimum, so financially i can relax a little for now
No UUs/TAs/OUTs to report, although i have half a bottle of baby wash left with another not long opened, so shall use this up first. As i said last night i listed 4 items (2 lots of 2) on ebay last night, although i won't hold my breath for them selling...I bet ebay has had a massive surge of toiletries added this weekend thanks to us lothaha. Happy sunday everyone!

glad you are winning the battle emsjune
I have painted my nails with a silver magnetic nail polish from nails inc that I bought probably 1 year ago - it's very nice. As I am very fidgety I had to sit and watch films whilst all the layers dried. I now have my eye on more magnetic nail polishes - but my list of 45 odd in my stash is putting me off! that's a good reason to do more listing0 -
Evening ladies,
Uu 'this works' firming body lotion, this is excellent as a moisturizer and a little goes a long way, the only thing is the scent is quite unusual and takes some getting used to, that said I probably wnba as there are many cheaper moisturizers which do just as good a job.
Happy pampering, xo0 -
Another vote for RT brushes! The No7 ones are decent too, with vouchers.
I have an exciting freebie IN! I entered a blog giveaway and won the NAKED Basics palette! :T It arrived today and looks great.

Had an awful week with a car crash that wrote off my car and worse still it had 1/2 a tank of petrol in it! Not impressed especially since I had set aside some money for shopping with my friend today but I still got a few sneaky INS.
INS from today Aveeno moisturising cream, I'm sure I've had this before and wanted something to help my eczema and dry skin in between using steroids, or ideally to steer clear of them. Unfortunately they didn't have a facial one in store. A Max Factor nail varnish in a pretty purple shade - will post the name later and some Garnier Soft Essentials face wipes, don't use face wipes often but sometimes do if I've got eyeliner and mascara on. Hopefully these won't react with my skin.
A few outs: Lush H'Suan hair mask full size. I got this for free (always good) but I really wasn't impressed. It didn't do anything noticeable to my hair so WNBA. Dove Original deodorant, I only bought this because I was desperate and the shop had this or a men's one but it was great. No white marks, lasted relatively well and did the job so WBA.
To cheer myself up after my crash I treated myself to an OPI gel manicure and pedicure which I've wanted to try for ages (they had a great offer on that day which was both for £29). I had Lincoln Park After Dark on my fingers although it's so, so much lighter than the nail varnish. It's more of a grape shade. Has anyone else experienced this?
Going to have a pamper tonight as OH is going out. Happy Saturday everyone. Has anyone got any plans for tonight?
CharlotteK - Glad to hear you are ok, remember you being unhurt is much more important than half a tank of fuel.
Great news emsjune78 - Hopefully you won't have to wait too much longer for your final outcome.
Have a lovely time Rosemary.
I have had a very expensive day. Had to fork out for two new tyres and paid the remaining balance of my holiday.
Did pick up a couple of things in the B**ts clearance. Champneys eye cream roller for £2.50- bought one for me and one for my mum. Got to the checkout and it was still on 3 for 2. Lucky me. Also picked up Olay Total Effects Moisturiser + ake Up Wonder for £3.99. Also picked up a naughty nail polish No7 Chaperone for 50p.

Posted completed OT posting and completely forgot about the on-topic one.
I have shortish, fine hair that is darkish brown naturally with a few greys in fringe and at temples. That colour is a bit ageing, so I use a med. brown colour to dye and lift it.
There always seems to be too much product for my little mop when I apply it and it often makes a heck of a mess.
When I used Clairol Foam in 2010 ( x 1000 ) I spent the entire development time desperately trying to clean the colour up from where it had flown all over the bathroom and ruined the cream bath mat.
Wilko's own brand at £1 in med. brown suits me fine colourwise - it's just like the dyes of 30 years ago with a 30 min development time, a tube of colour and a bottle of developer with a nozzle to cut off for application.
I bought a dye-mix bowl and set of combs/application brushes (from Poundworld) and carefully emptied half the developer and half the colour in to the bowl to do my roots today. The tube and bottle tops were carefully and quickly resealed including the foil cap for the colour, to keep the remaining contents fresh for another use in 6-8 weeks.
It's worked like a charm.
I did have a Clairol roots brush from buying the roots touch up kits some years ago but the pound shop brushes (like the dyes) are fine, and wider too, for easier application.
So for 50p today, :money: I've coloured my hair and with far less mess and fuss than usual.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

I hope everyone's having a good night? I listed several items on facebook earlier to sell - and 4 s&g items on ebay. I managed to sell 5 boxes of hair dye for what i paid for them, although they are not counted in my stash total. Pleased though as in my signature, i'm on a mission to make some extra dough  Hope you all enjoy the rest of the evening
