Hi kadison. Glad to see you have discovered PCMC. Where did you pick up your bargain from?

Same here. Shop around. I tend to pick mine up within kits (although now I'm careful about which kits I buy so I don't end up with a stash of other Elemis products that I don't like). A really good one to look out for is the Cancer Research kit which is released every October.

QVC and/or Timetospa, I buy the kits and sell off the bits I don't want on ebay :D

Emsjune - Glad to hear the meeting went well!

Fructis Colour guard Shampoo. WBA it's pretty much my regular brand. But have loads of shampoos under the sink.

Clinique Mild Liquid Soap Cleanser. 30ml, gwp size. Not bad but have at least six more cleansers to use before I can even think about buying one.

I'm off to prison next month. Job transfer came through. I'm actually looking forward to it. I've got 12 weeks to decide if it's the right job and can go back to the job I left.

It's warming up to 2C this week! Might have to get the shorts out. Still driving on 10cm of icepack.

Enjoy your hols to those travelling. Feel better to the sickies.
  • UU Elemis face wash WNBA it was nothing special. Finally opened a Body Shop Seaweed set i bought donkeys ago only to find the day cream had gone off so had to TA. Serves me right for buying bulk and then not using them. On the bright side i still haven't bought anything toiletry wise. I will have to buy some shampoo at some point in the next month or two but not till i finish my 3 half empty bottles.

I have an unheard of UU today - a bar of TBS cherry soap. Did the job and kept its smell but as I have 36 bars of soap I never need to buy a bar again anyway!

Sanctuary Body Scrub - I love the smell of this range and this is a good everyday scrub. I have a few of these in the stash from the Boots 75% off sale so have replaced with another one.

Mitchum roll on - WBA, this is good long lasting protection.

    Happy snow day everyone!

    Morning all

    Have two uu

No7 Sumptuous bath soak - WBA, i really love this but still have another in the stash for now.

Elemis Herbal Lavender Repair Mask - I have two more tubes of this in the stash but after those are gone I don't think I would bother again. It's nice but not special enough to justify the price.

I have found TBS soaps are a real LHJ too. Currently using one as hand wash but it doesn't seem to have shrunk at all over the past few weeks!!

UU17 to report: VO5 Beyond Blonde Conditioner 500ml

WBA and already have! I tend to just buy whatever shampoo and conditioner is on offer. This is cheap and seems to do the job!

    [QUOTE=vic.

I hope everyone's having a good night? I listed several items on facebook earlier to sell - and 4 s&g items on ebay. I managed to sell 5 boxes of hair dye for what i paid for them, although they are not counted in my stash total. Pleased though as in my signature, i'm on a mission to make some extra dough  Hope you all enjoy the rest of the evening![/QUOTE

Oooohh I like the sound of the Facebook buy and sell page, what's the name of the group. Maybe I could sell some items that way :)

Hi, the page i use is local, although i'm sure there is bound to be one by you. I live in kent, so my local group is 'For sale and wanted deal/dover'. They are branching out and i've heard other regions are doing the same, so hopefully you'll find one near you? If not it might be a good idea to start one? ;)

Also, the people who aren't getting on with the L'oreal oil, have you tried Macadamia oil? I bought some back on the Amazon lighting deals week before christmas, and it's my only HG. I have wavy frizzy hair and straighten it almost every time i go out (bad, i know). I got it for about £9 on offer and it was an impulse buy, but the best by far! It makes my hair very shiney (i'm always getting comments about it!) and has helped prolong my split ends, so much so that it's been longer than usual since my last haircut :D

Sorry if i lead anyone astray with this, but if that's the kind of product you want but you don't get on with the L'oreal one, then give this a go: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Macadamia-Healing-Oil-Hair-Treatment/dp/B002WTC37U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1360594838&sr=8-1

I was in poundworld recently and found a small 60ml bottle of Argan oil (pretty much the same thing) which i haven't used yet but i have 3 in the stash from christmas :)

It worked wonders after i had my LB as my hair came out all at once and needed a lot of TLC, and my hairdresser uses it on all her clients too. HTH someone, and please don't blame me if you buy some for your stash :rotfl:

    Two small UU's -
    1.The L'Oreal Everpure coloured hair s&c sachets.
    WIB?
Yes, and I'd meant to after my L'Oreal Elvive was UU'ed but with the huge bottle of Pantene landing the other week, my Boots points are safe for a while. I absolutely love how this makes my hair feel. Also, just colouring the roots yesterday seems to have done my hair ends a big favour - they often feel a bit dry and unloved after a colour, but not this time.

UU 2 . A free 20 ml sample of Dirty Works body butter, used as foot cream so I could assess it properly over several uses.
WIB? Probably not - it was nice, but it's not cheap and it wasn't special enough to justify splashing out. I did like the fresh, slightly citrussy scent.

I have been using mine in the shower since I moved in October, so about 4 months, definitely a LHJ but very :money:!
