Sorry to hear about your crash - hope you're okay? Bit pants about the petrol but at least you're in one piece! No plans for tonight - OH works every saturday night until 12 so a night on the laptop i think =/

Thanks everyone. You're all completely right, I am so incredibly lucky to walk away completely unharmed. I was going 15 mph under the speed limit because I thought there was a car too far near the middle of the road, the ditch starts about 100 yards ahead and none of my airbags deployed.

vic.star that sounds a bit pants. Same here and it's the perfect time to catch up with this thread :)

Well done Mingle - I've got one of the large ones in coconut cream to use. How long did it last you?

trudij - sounds lovely. Another L'Occitane fan here, happy pampering.

Edited to say OMG I managed to finally use the quote function correctly!

    3 more UU

Ren Vital-Mineral Day Cream 5ml - nice but nothing special
Ren Active 7 Radiant Eye Gel 3ml - doesn't really do anything
Clarins Hydra Quench Rich Cream VeryDry Skin 5ml really liked this when I first opened it, but over the last couple of days started flaking off after it was applied, it was so bad this morning I had to stop part way through applying my makeup and had to wash this off and start again so WNBA.

That's a total of 8 so far this month, as I've counted each oz palette as 8 items, this cancels out the purchase of one palette. I have a few splutterers so should have a few more UU this month unfortunately I don't think I'll manage a reduction in the stash this month but will keep trying.

Also just wanted to say the Urban Decay eyeliner was a nightmare to remove. Mind you I don't think the No.7 remover I'm using at the moment is really good enough so won't be buying again once its a UU. So when the time comes will need to decide if I should get the Clinique take off the day again or try something else.
  • Hello folks!

Sorry to hear about the crash CharlotteK, hope you're ok and not feeling too shaken up :(

I've not been around, suffice to say that until today I have had neither a UU or an IN. As luck would have it, today there has been both!!

    The INS:

Simple Kind to Skin Moisturiser - I have others in the stash, including some brands I have never used before and some that are quite old, and I have funny skin that reacts to the strangest things, so I've bought a "safe" one so that if I do use anything that makes it flare I can calm it down and get back to normal quickly. ironically it will mean I'll actually use the others and not go without moisturising at all because I'm scared.

Hmm, that sounds really like "she doth protest too much" lol

the other in is a 60p shampoo from Boots I bought with my points - not even sure this counts!

This was bought as I frequently wash hair twice, and if I do that with the nice shampoo I find I use the shampoo up twice as fast as the conditioner and then have half empty conditioners lying around, and of course use up the "posh" shampoo too quickly, so this way I can get most of the grease off first and then use the posh stuff once. It also gives me a chance to use up the other conditioners :)

And my lovely pampering session this evening means I have UU'd an aromatherapy face mask I've had lying around for years!! and in true PRCP style I lit a candle I've had for ages and opened a bubble bath I had been "saving"

Your accident sounds horrible, i think it'd take a while for me to get back on the road after that, i have panicked in the past when a car was almost over the line and caused me to almost go into the side of a curb, which could of caused a serious accident. Its the road layout, it's all new with no signs on the road so people don't always go into the right lane on a big roundabout =/ Still, onwards and upwards! :)

I agree about catching up on the thread, it moves so fast you do have to take your time to read it all :rotfl:! He also works wednesday nights so again, another night to catch up on MSE :T.

LOL about your edit - made me chuckle. I managed to multi-quote the other day, i wasn't even sure what i was doing! :rotfl:

I hope everyone's having a good night? I listed several items on facebook earlier to sell - and 4 s&g items on ebay. I managed to sell 5 boxes of hair dye for what i paid for them, although they are not counted in my stash total. Pleased though as in my signature, i'm on a mission to make some extra dough  Hope you all enjoy the rest of the evening!
