How much is the Estee Lauder? I ...
Unfortunately Doublewear foundation is £27.50. Lasts me about eight months. Its the most expensive beauty product I buy. Its definitely worth getting a sample from their counter first. Its heavy stuff and some people find it mask-like. The pale shades are 1C1, 1W1 and 1N1, cool, warm and neutral respectively. If you buy from Esteelauder.co.uk postage is currently free and you get a couple of decent samples.0 -
18-23 Some items posted to a friend...can't say what they are as it's a surprise and she might read this.Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

I really love her website, I've watched a couple of her videos, but really need to watch and do at the same time I think going to see if she has one on eyeliner. Have you watched the favourite brushes video, the powder brush was lovely but so expensive. That's a few recommendations for the real techniques brushes now will have a close look at them next time I'm in boots. Don't think by brushes apply the colour well iykwim.
Another vote for RT brushes! The No7 ones are decent too, with vouchers.
I have an exciting freebie IN! I entered a blog giveaway and won the NAKED Basics palette! :T It arrived today and looks great.0 -
For anyone looking at getting some make-up tools/brushes, my local savers had some maxfactor (or maybelline, i've forgotten!) bits in a posh looking black box. All for a couple of quid each, and looked worth it
Hope everyone's having a nice evening! No INS or OUTS to report atm, slowly but surely we're making our way through. Just opened 1 of the 2 bottles of bubble bath in the stash earlier so that's one step closer i guess :beer:0 -
Hi ladies, have only just caught up on this week and it's cheered me up no end reading your thoughts and reviews so thanks
Big hello to new posters, seriously cannot recommend this thread enough, don't be afraid to post like I was everyone here is so friendly and it has really helped me think before purchasing.
Had an awful week with a car crash that wrote off my car and worse still it had 1/2 a tank of petrol in it! Not impressed especially since I had set aside some money for shopping with my friend today but I still got a few sneaky INS.
INS from today Aveeno moisturising cream, I'm sure I've had this before and wanted something to help my eczema and dry skin in between using steroids, or ideally to steer clear of them. Unfortunately they didn't have a facial one in store. A Max Factor nail varnish in a pretty purple shade - will post the name later and some Garnier Soft Essentials face wipes, don't use face wipes often but sometimes do if I've got eyeliner and mascara on. Hopefully these won't react with my skin.
A few outs: Lush H'Suan hair mask full size. I got this for free (always good) but I really wasn't impressed. It didn't do anything noticeable to my hair so WNBA. Dove Original deodorant, I only bought this because I was desperate and the shop had this or a men's one but it was great. No white marks, lasted relatively well and did the job so WBA.
To cheer myself up after my crash I treated myself to an OPI gel manicure and pedicure which I've wanted to try for ages (they had a great offer on that day which was both for £29). I had Lincoln Park After Dark on my fingers although it's so, so much lighter than the nail varnish. It's more of a grape shade. Has anyone else experienced this?
Going to have a pamper tonight as OH is going out. Happy Saturday everyone. Has anyone got any plans for tonight?Saving for our wedding July 2013!0 -
