Would anyone make use of the voucher for the free L'Occ hand cream?

Doesnt look like i will get to the shop and to be honest I have enough hand creams to last me a life time:-)
  • Confession time have fell for the l'occitane flash sale so will have yet more ins to declare soon.

PYNF - tonight I am sporting OPI Liquid sand stay the night. Think it would have been better with 3 coats. I have added top coat as I don't think i'm keen on the rough texture....3 coats later its still not smooth but much improved. On a positive note the way these polishes eat top coat I will have a UU soon.

Hi Fiasco, no sorry don't watch Being Human. Other favourites in the VALM household though are The Almighty Johnsons, The Walking Dead, Dexter, Arrow. Supernatural and American Horror Story. Sadly most of them have now finished. We also watched Last Resort which was great but has been cancelled. MrM doesn't watch TVD though. Funnily enough he doesn't see the appeal of all that eye candy. :rotfl:

Look after that finger. Sounds very ouch. x

Oh now I like The Walking Dead and Dexter - haven't seen any of the others yet.

Fiasco, ouch about your nail! :(

And while we're on the subject of TV, sorry the only vampire programme for me is True Blood. Alexander Skarsgard, nom...

OH, and Game of Thrones reappears on the 1st April - cannot express how excited I am about that! :D

Ooohhh - now Mr Northman is just lovely. Can't wait for GOT too. One of my fav actors has been cast as Ramsey Snow - Iwan Rheon.
Hal isn't a patch on Mitchell!

I do love True Blood though, i cant wait for the next series! i have a Fangtasia glass and plastic cup that i got in New York too, as well as a Merlotte's t shirt lol

got my amarya, 5 INs. will post when other shave got theirs as i havent sen anyone else mention it.

Loving the merch evilsquid. Last Halloween I did see a few girls out dressed in Merlotte's uniforms.

Thanks for the sympathetic Ouches on my nail. It is not as sore today but is looking rather battered and bruised.

Back OT - I have startedto use my last S & G product I own. I can't see me ever buying anything in this range again as I have truly sickened myself and haven't really rated many of the products. So my liquid soap is now in use in my en suite and I am liking it. It isn't drying out my hands and does give a nice lather. So far so good. This was part of a duo and I hated the hand cream which was so ineffective.

Edit - 3 Outs - all nail polish. TA 2 x Nails Inc Floral St (not as white as they needed to be for a FM as they were so old) and UU Jessica Top Coat.

Looking forward to two full days off now. Hope everyone has a great Saturday.

    Thanks :)

Does it go on offer at all or do you usually pay full price for it?

OMG no I haver never paid full price! Though the last time I actually bought it was about 2 years ago from Boots, so I haven't really looked out for any promotions.

No7 do a hot cloth cleanser too though and we all know how frequent No7 vouchers are :o

So I might have gone on what you might describe as a "wipe based rampage" during my lunch hour.

I "wiped out" on the Kleenex wipes, not stocked in either of Chelmsford's Superdrugs - I've ordered these online. Nor could I easily get to Tesco, I might try at the weekend.

    I've got all of these to try;

    Poundland:
3 in 1 Make Up Removal Complete Cleansing Wipes (25wipes) x2 (2 packs for £1)
Icare 5 in 1 Eye Make Up Remover Pads (a double pack made up of x2 30 wipes, £1)

    From Wilkinson I got:
Johnson's Face Care Daily Essentials Fragrance Free Facial Cleansing Wipes (25 wipes, £1.50)
Skin Therapy Exfoliating Fragrance Free Facial Wipes (25 wipes, £0.67)

    From Superdrug:
Cucumber Facial Cleansing Wipes (25 wipes, £0.99)
    B.Quick 4 in 1 Cleansing Wipes (25 wipes, £2.50)

I picked up the B.Quick because the packaging is exactly the same as the No7 wipes although a different colour? Same plastic clip lid, plastic crinkles the same as the No7.... a dupe perhaps?

I then went in to Boots and I'm sure I saw exactly the same cucumber wipes? I don't know if my eyes were playing tricks on me by then though!!

Bearing in mind I'll get through a pack roughly once a month, I'll be sure to do a "Moromir's Monthly Wipe Review" or something!

If you're looking for a nice face wipe i also use wilkinson's skin therapy wipes all the time! I get the fragrance free ones, but in a green//white packet, same price as the ones you've got but they're usually 2 for £1.

I've used no 7, s&g, tesco, boots, superdrug and other brands of wipes and find these the best for getting make-up off your skin without having to use brute force :rotfl: I always stock up when i go to wilkos as my nearest is 30mins drive away, but i find these great value and find they have just the right amount of moisture to them so that it does the job but doesn't leave your face all wet! HTH :o

Isn't Brut Force an aftershave? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Has anyone tried this? http://www.superdrug.com/face/superdrug-hot-cloth-cleanser-with-muslin-cloth-150ml/invt/516251/&bklist=

I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to C&P and am deciding between this one and the Vitamin E one. I have oily/combination skin.

    TIA :)

I have combination skin and used the Vitamin E one and it didn't cause any problems, in fact I really liked it and will buy it again at some point.

I agree with Kadison about the SPF, I think regular moisturising with a good spf moisturiser is as good as anything really. I have a pot of PCMC in the stash which I am looking forward to trying more than ever now.

Ooh thank you :D good to know, I didn't really want 'exfoliating' wipes but that was all they had fragrance free.

    These are what I got.

No worries! I've been using them for about 4 years now and hate it when i have to use another brand as i find they don't work as good :(

Sorry my fault, these are the ones i buy, 10p cheaper than yours and they're 3 in 1 :) : http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/skincare+moisturisers/wilko-skin-therapy-3-in-1-facial-wipes-fragrance-free-x-25/invt/0296216/
