I have had problems with that range. The serum resulted in me having the worst break-out I have ever had. I imagine they might have samples though as they often have sample-sizes in the gifts with purchase.

I was just going to post along the same lines. The serum makes my skin congested. I end up with big blind spots that are very sore. I have normal/combination skin.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    Thanks Hermia and Valm

Don't think I will bother then to be honest. I get acne anyway as it is, don't want to risk it getting any worse! Do you have any anti ageing products that you have found work well?

Was going to ask what people thought of the Protect and Perfect range. I am thinking about investing in one of the sets they sell with the serum, day, and night cream. I am in my late 20s, not really many wrinkles (yet!) What do people think?! I haven't used any anti ageing products before but am thinking it might be time to start

The serum broke me out really badly too, only took about 10 days of use to cause the problems but months to sort out. Many people do love it though.

Have a uu - a make up one no less

Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie in Strawberry - WNBA, it is nice and made my lips smooth but it didn't last 5 minutes. It was a GWP but I think it may have been full size.

A Non Bought In from Amazon - they offered me a freebie of some 100% lanolin cream and after a quick Google to check its suitability, I sent for it for use as a foot cream.

It's actually being marketed as a nipple cream, :rotfl: will have to make sure I keep it well hidden away in case it's spotted by DD or DS (or worse, DGC  ) and Awkward Questions are asked.

So a NBI of 37.5 ml of pure lanolin. When it arrived I opened the tube to see what it was like. It had got cold sat in the postie's post bag and had set solid, so has been on the radiator for the past few hours. :D

I see many people have had break-outs, if this has happened you should return it as all No7 is supposedly hypo-allergenic!

I haven't had any problems like that but my skin has never been prone to break-outs so that might be why. No7 was the best around for a while but I think there are certainly better (and cheaper) products out there, it's all about what suits your skin, and I always found the skin creams too heavy.

If you're thinking of anti-ageing the best thing to get is a day cream with an SPF in, SPF15 minimum but 30 is best especially if your skin is fair or you are freckled, the ones below are my two absolute favourite day creams, overnight I tend to use any old day cream as night creams are too heavy for my liking, hth xx

This one is energising and smells of oranges....

This one (in its different versions) has been a firm favourite of mine for around 10 years (since I was in my mid-20s)

But they introduced this one last year so I use this now as I am starting to notice sun spots on my freckled skin

Hope all that was of use? LOL!

Excellent - thank you kadison that's really helpful. Do you use any eye creams or serums for anti-ageing (apart from the No7!)

I don't really buy anything anti-ageing specifically for that really, I just think about the high SPF day creams and keep out of the sun/use a high SPF when I'm in it. The two most ageing things are the sun and smoking so avoiding those are your best bet.

I just get stuff I like the look of, hence my enormous stash lol! My fave eye stuff is this, I prefer gels as I like my eyes to feel 'cool' :D

I have to say I do have a Holy Grail product though, recently started using it and OMG it's worth its weight in gold! (But I did pay only about £15 for a 30ml pot ;)) But again, I bought it because I liked the sound of a 'marine' cream as I love anything connected to the sea.

Any more questions feel free, I could go on about this stuff all night lol!

    Have a UU :j

Aldi velvet & silk hand wash WIBA yes, I really liked this and it was a bargain price ;) Think I will use some of my shower gel / bubble bath as hand wash first though as I have soooo many!

Have replaced with Bayliss & Harding hand wash, it's not great so hope it doesn't last too long!

VALM and I are huge fans of Pro Collagen Marine Cream, you have to shop around for special offers, I could not afford it at the price quoted.
