On a beauty related note, I've somehow completely and suddenly run out of my HG No7 4 in 1 wipes

I should semi yay for graduating on the wipe stash?

But /panic I'm going to have to go and buy wipes tomorrow because I just messed around with a bottle of makeup remover and a stack of cotton pads and it took forever to get all my makeup off. No more.

Any recommendations since I baulk at paying £7.25 full price for the No7 ones.

I'm particularly after the 'make up remover' element rather than 'cleansing' since I cleanse after using a wipe.

I also use Tesco wipes but currently have Boots Expert wipes in my gym bag from a previous glitch a few years ago.
I know some posters here recommend the Primark wipes that are 2for £1.
    :)
    HTH

I recommend the primark ones, alternatively if you are not near a Primark, the Kleenex wipes are also very good, I have several in my ebay stash (they'll probably come over to my toiletries stash soon lol) and they're excellent, they're currently half price in Superdrug at £1.39 a pack.

I would also highly recommend their ones for eye make-up as well if anyone here uses eye make-up wipes, but these are my all-time favourites (only when on offer though!)....

    Sorry, Morning!

    Got a UU....

Colgate Plax Multi-Protection Soft Mint Mouthwash 500ml

WBA as it has a nice flavour and taste to it and doesn't set off my sensitive teeth. However I had decanted it into a smaller Listerine Zero bottle and I wouldn't buy that again as I hate all Listerine (I tried several types).

I also have a splutterer - Sanctuary Intensive Rescue Heel Balm 75ml - which should be gone in the next few days!

kadison can't believe how long your MUA order took - mine was only a few days! I'm glad I took advantage of the half price offer as I have some new favourites, although some of the stuff I have been a bit unimpressed with!
Ooh the starter kit, and the kabuki are on my list of things I want! Thank you for the hugs :)

    Not a problem ;)

Yes it took flamin' AGES! I ordered and paid on 25th Jan and they didn't send it until 4th Feb!! I had a go at them, they apologised but still, TEN DAYS to merely dispatch an order?!

Thanks for the heads up; I was debating which size to buy but in the circumstances I think the travel size would be more appropriate! What does the one that got away look like? I am now singing 'the man that got away' in my head, with full Judy Garland vibrato.

Actually, I'm glad you mentioned that about the primer. Beware of the pump action bottles. I had two where the product did not all come out of it (not MSE! tut tut Smashbox) or the product went off before I finished it. I knew this had happened as it flaked straight off when I applied it.

Here is swatch of the Katy Perry lacquer I stole from scrangie's blog. It wasn't so great as it chipped really badly yesterday and I had to repaint my nails last night. Am now wearing OPI Berlin There Got That - inspired by maddiemay's talk of nude lacquers yesterday.

oguey - Well done on the 100 UUs :T
VALM - Since you like the Vampire Diaries do you watch BBC 3's Being Human? I love it but gutted to find out today that this series is the last :( sob! How will I cope without some Hal :smileyhea in my Sunday nights?!?

Broke my right thumb nail today. Smacked in straight into a wall and it has split in the centre, right down to halfway...I could possibly repeat what came out of my mouth :o. So I have pieced together what I can but it is so sore.

Hi Fiasco, no sorry don't watch Being Human. Other favourites in the VALM household though are The Almighty Johnsons, The Walking Dead, Dexter, Arrow. Supernatural and American Horror Story. Sadly most of them have now finished. We also watched Last Resort which was great but has been cancelled. MrM doesn't watch TVD though. Funnily enough he doesn't see the appeal of all that eye candy. :rotfl:

Look after that finger. Sounds very ouch. x
He was one hell of an optimist, was Harold ...

Go Harold! MrM's family used to have two Jack Russells. They are tenacious little dogs.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

That haul looks gorgeous kadison. Must make a note to stay away from the local Superdrug for a whle!!

Am gonna go now. Work is gonna be busy today as we have 6 completions. Happy Friday everyone. Anyone got anything exciting planned for the weekend. I sadly haven't!

welcome to the new peeps, I've been here a few weeks and still haven't done a full list!

    kadison that makeup looks lovely

moromir I'm waiting for the next batch of no7 vouchers before I buy no7 again. Has anyone tried baby wipes to remove make up? It seems to do the trick for me.

I really enjoyed last resort, was so mad when they cancelled it!

Really enjoying Nashville, 666 Park Avenue (also cancelled), Zero Hour which started last week and mostly cos it has dr green from ER and cappy from Greek in it! Also sticking with Banshee (same production team as true blood) and House of Lies (hilarious and reminds me of boston legal in humour style)

Im a giant tv nerd :(

I use nothing BUT babywipes to remove makeup as I always have plenty in stock for nappy changing DD. I normally use Asda's Little Angels Fragrance free or sensitive wipes, you get 6 packs in a box for £4.50. They work fine on my face and I have odd combination skin. I also find Pampers Sensitive ones good but they are more expensive. Would not recommend Huggies wipes as they are very foamy (if you can even find any of those now).

Suidreams I'm with you about makeup! Most of mine is years old - especially nail varnishes which take forever to use up!

VALM, love your MUA stash! I don't own any MUA so am resisting the urge. I don't own any OPI either but love some of their nude ranges and again, fighting the urge to get any. :o

Fiasco, ouch about your nail! :(

And while we're on the subject of TV, sorry the only vampire programme for me is True Blood. Alexander Skarsgard, nom...

OH, and Game of Thrones reappears on the 1st April - cannot express how excited I am about that! :D

On the plus side, after popping into Boots the other day for baby purchases, I now finally have enough points to purchase Benefit Lemon Aid! Hooray! :D Planning on going into the store on the weekend to make my long-awaited purchase.
