    Morning all and welcome newbies.

And - yes I suppose my dog could be hankering after a lady, he has all his bits intact btw. Bless Harold, very typical of that breed.

Kadison - your MUA make up looks very pretty, I have some of their things and love them, especially the Heaven & Earth and Undressed pallettes.

VALM - I love American Horror Story - the scene in this series where they sang The Name Game was brilliant, Jessica Lange is fab. We used to watch a programme about a bunch of people who woke up in a motel in the middle of nowhere and couldn't leave. I can't remember the name, does anyone remember it.

My plans for the weekend involve re-decorating our bathroom and a bit of riding.

moromir - I quite like the wilkos ones - I think they're between 50p and £1. My skin's quite sensitive but it's been ok with these. I quite like the no7 ones, but they are very expensive.

kadison - ooh good haul! I love their eyeshadows, such good quality! I got the brow kit and the eye primer and I can't seem to get on with them, you'll have to tell me how you do with them! :)

catriona - ooh I love True Blood! Eric's definitely my favourite! Have you read the books? OOh and congrats on your lemon aid long awaited purchase!

UU - impulse shower gel - WNBA as was a bit flowery for my taste

  • When my huge OE Sheepdog was in heat a tiny miniature Jack Russell called Harold used to camp on our doorstep from dawn to dusk.
He was one hell of an optimist, was Harold ...

Did he bring a step ladder?!?:rotfl::rotfl:

    Afternoon!

Just had a shower and 2 more UUs from me.....

Elemis Frangipani Monoi shower cream 500ml (actually 2 bottles decanted into a big bottle) - WNBA, nice and creamy but far too highly fragranced for my taste!

No 7 Protect & Perfect Beauty Serum 30ml - WNBA simply because I got a load of No7 in the post-xmas sales of either 2008 or 2009 and I still have 2 tubes of this left out of 6, which shows how much I use it! Lovely product though :o

Going to see Les Mis in an hour so must get cracking, see y'all later! xxx

2 UU from me. My first ever bottle of lush snow fairy (WHY did I never find this before now?) it's DEF a HG item, but I have 2 in stash from sale :)

And lush candy mountain. I have one more in my undies drawer (making it smell all nice and sweet) still unsure if I would buy again though as it seems like a pointless extra but does make everywhere smell lovely and sweet

I have the boxset sat on my 'to read' shelf in the bedroom. :) Got another book I'm going to finish first, then make a start on those! Can't wait - don't tell me what happens at the end! :D

Was going to ask what people thought of the Protect and Perfect range. I am thinking about investing in one of the sets they sell with the serum, day, and night cream. I am in my late 20s, not really many wrinkles (yet!) What do people think?! I haven't used any anti ageing products before but am thinking it might be time to start

I have had problems with that range. The serum resulted in me having the worst break-out I have ever had. I imagine they might have samples though as they often have sample-sizes in the gifts with purchase.

I really enjoyed last resort, was so mad when they cancelled it!

I know. It had brilliant cast as well. At least they gave it a decent ending.

VALM, love your MUA stash! I don't own any MUA so am resisting the urge. I don't own any OPI either but love some of their nude ranges and again, fighting the urge to get any. :o

And while we're on the subject of TV, sorry the only vampire programme for me is True Blood. Alexander Skarsgard, nom...

On the plus side, after popping into Boots the other day for baby purchases, I now finally have enough points to purchase Benefit Lemon Aid! Hooray! :D Planning on going into the store on the weekend to make my long-awaited purchase.

Sadly it is not my MUA haul - I was quoting kadison. I own the Undressed palette though and love using that.

I don't know who Alexander Skarsgard is but think the guy who plays Bill is ugly. All vampires should look like Damon Salvatore. x

Hope you enjoy using the Lemon Aid when you get it. As maddiemay says it's truly a desert island product.

MrM loved that scene as well. I find this programme so disturbing but it's compelling viewing because the actors are all so good. Made me laugh because before it aired I read a few snippets whereby Adam Levine was really bigging up his role in it but he must have been on screen for about 10 minutes if that! I thought Zachary Quinto was fab in it. All in all though I think I preferred Season 1.

Don't know the name of the other programme you mentioend though.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
