If you answer yes to that question, I'm surprised you form any opinions at all, given that theres always going to be that chance in any situation.
No but you can give a reasoned opinion based on the evidence without moving into personal insults of the woman. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Will it harm your case if this goes to court that you've published word for word the correspondence between you and this woman?
It seems a bit dodgy. Especially now the business has been named.
You've got the woman's extra product for free and now you appear to want to destroy her business.
Seems a bit harsh.
I don't want to go into detail yet but it appears that the woman may not be at any loss regarding the error yet she has still invoiced me and demanded the money. I have no intention of destroying her business though I cannot just ignore harassment. I cannot imagine that many people requiring pet bedding fleece would happen across this thread.0 -

Really and how do you do that? Different people take offense to different things. What is seen as reasonable by one may be considered insulting/offensive by another.
I get what you mean. But realistically its impossible. And if you cater to those who are so overly sensitive, all you end up doing is antagonising otherwise reasonable people. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
I did not know she was a sole trader or small business when I initially posted here and even now I don't think I can be blamed if she damages her business by acting like this. However, I think its important to remember that I have not got some of her product for free. She didn't make it, or stock it and she hasn't paid for it as the error was the manufacturers. I however, have paid for what I ordered and we gave her every opportunity to investigate it. We even said we would rather have the right amount of the right product than extra of the wrong product when there was a query over whether or not this material sent to me had been treated with the antibacterial product.
Of course I am concerned at her behaviour and want to discuss it on a consumer rights thread, but she could have stopped harassing me at anytime and I would not have needed to discuss it further. If she had contacted me to say the matter had been settled with the manufacturer and she would not be contacting me further, I would have posted that here. My husband has spoken to her directly and sent a concise letter in the post and she has read the posts here, yet she is still pursuing this to try to make some money rather than worrying about customer care.0
