Application printed off and posted last night.
A minor irritation is that you have to tell them when it's convenient for them to phone you to set up telephone banking. Since I don't intend to keep this account going once I get my 1000 points I have no need to set this up and don't particularly want them to call me up at all. Still, for the potential £40 profit I guess it's worth the few minutes the call will take. So long as they don't try to sell me stuff I don't want .......0 -
Can I apply for a savings account in each of my childrens name, deposit the money and still claim the potential £40 profit ?? I have already applied for one in mine and my husband's name, am I being greedy? I'm sure Mr T can afford it !!0

So I'm sorry you cannot open several accounts0 -

You have to provide the Tesco Clubcard number on the application, so that they can credit you with the 1000 points. Don't know if they will actually check that the Clubcard is registered to the person opening the savings account. Of course, if your children each have their own separate Clubcard acounts, it's not a problem.0

I will do. But given the chance, I prefer not to give them the chance to waste 10 minutes (or more) of my time. They can be persistent (but they still won't wear me down.)0 -
is it possible to link the savings account with a non-Tesco nominated account? I'm just wondering how easy it'd be to withdraw the cash from Tesco savings account after 30th June. Or shall I just close the account and ask Tesco to move the funds to nominated account...0

I've hopefully solved this problem just by not giving my telephone number on the application form.0
