  • Help women in their forties, who have to go abroad for IVF treatment and are SUCCESSFUL. They should be allowed to claim against the NHS who turned them away! Many couples use all their life savings and then cant afford to spoil their children.
  • Charge small fee around £5 to be seen in A&E.

Reduces amount of people going with minor/meaningless injuries.

Reduces work load of hospitals doctors/nurses, puts money into NHS helping with improvements to equipment and enabling the hiring of more staff.

Also means that more attention can be paid to those who need it.
  • I think that it would be a good idea to enforce responsibility amongst politicians and business leaders to a much greater extent.

For example if a company fails and it is directly attributable to a directors actions then it should be possible to claw back assets from them.

The same should go for ministerial decisions.

The thought of losing everything would have a wonderfully focussing effect on their decisions.
  • Overseas visitors who have paid nothing into NHS piggy bank should pay for treatment. Short term migrant workers should NOT be able to send earnings OUT of uk to keep family overseas. Why are temporary migrants allowed to have their babes free and then push off home?
    Something drastically wrong !!!

Amazon earned £13bn over Xmas. Force the retailer to pay a tax contribution. They are after all damaging our high street.
  • Subsidies to encourage purchase of healthier foods.

Healthy foods (e.g. wholemeal flour and pasta, brown rice) should be subsidized to make them cheaper than less healthy alternatives like white bread. It costs more to eat healthy so low-income families opt for cheap, unhealthy foods. This leads to poor health and greater cost for National Health Service.

If you sign up for a service online, you should be allowed to cancel it online.

Phone calls should not be necessary.
  • Although the cost for fuel has come down recently, it is still very high and detrimental to many homes and businesses and therefore detrimental to the economy. Fuel prices should fall in line with wholesale prices, and the tax on fuel should be reduced and recuperated elsewhere (e.g. cigarettes, alcohol).
  • Make all council operated car parks pay on exit, use ANPR to time the visit. Simple and no need to issue tickets from wardens, get delayed and you get a fine, it is nonsense.
  • Put lots of small recycling units on roadsides (in the same way as many councils leave boxes of grit for residents in icy weather) so that residents can walk to them with a bag of items instead of having to save up large quantities for recycling collection days. Then it would be cost effective for a recycling lorry to do the same route every day and empty them.
