Well...in even further down the line and as yet my joining issues are still not resolved. I have my monthly DD coming out at £82....no bill has yet been produced from the co-op (still).
And now instead of having Gas and Electric showing on my account but onl;y being able to submit reads for electric (duly ignored by co-op) Gas has completely disappeared.
I can see this all ending very messy and with a huge bill im tempted to swallow the £60 exit fees just to get somewhere that actually........well...works.0 -

Well closing down their site for maintenace on Sunday certainly seems to be counterproductive as I now find I can not even log in to my account.
I keep getting an error code I have at least prior to today been able to log in, even though the information on the account, was wrong I did take a bit of comfort that at least I could see what was happening , now nothing.
Will they ever sought their systems out?0 -
I have been thinking for some time that it looks to me as though Co-op Energy have lost a number of their customer account details, and that their repeated mindless posts on here are possibly nothing more than a phishing exercise in the hope of recovering some of their lost data. So I was very interested in reading this on tonight's thread about Scottish Power
"you were probably one of those whose Electric accounts disappeared down a black hole just after March 2014 and only recently re-appeared. Basically they got a new computer system last year but somehow about 75,000 customers accounts disappeared during the change-over. I received my first electricity bill last week with billing going all the way back to March 2014"mad mocs - the pavement worrier0 -
When I was contemplating moving to the CoOp, I sent them an Email with a query. I never received a response, and concluded that, if that was the way they dealt with a potential new customer, I didn't want to become an actual new customer!0

It seems to me there is a fundamental breakdown in communication so that any contact with them stops in its tracks and goes no further.
The posts on here are from nothing but nameless automatons trying to make it seem as though something is happening. I haven't seen any customer feedback on these forums to indicate they have helped in any way.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

I'm an existing customer of four years and so far, luckily?, I've been unaffected by what has happened. My requests to switch from Fixed To Mar 17 to F&S Mar 16 V1 and then V2 were dealt with quickly and efficiently.
I've today switched to F&S Oct 16 and received an acknowledgment email straight after.

There is no charge for an internal switch as I changed from a March 2016 one year deal to a May 2016 without a charge. It's a good deal and only a pity the site is such a disaster so I will move if it is not fixed at the end of my contract if it is not sorted.0
