  • Since that was directed at my OP, I was asked to make a list as my friends offered to throw me a baby shower - I didn't ask for it - and they said they didn't want to just buy outfits as so many people end up with newborn things that never get worn.

    i'm sure not all the people invited all had the same spontaneous idea. I just hate them! Each to their own tho!

    A decent easy to use thermoneter ....when they poorly at night and u r worried sick this is a must! I still keep my upstairs with satchets of nurofen in the case! I bought every fad baby gadget going for my first and when second came I got rid of most things! Parents ... Especially newbie one often feel they must hav everything and that's just not true! A good stair gate plug socket covers are good safety things to get. I wud recommend checking second hand market.... We got gifted nursery furniture which cost a lot but I hav since seen bargains on g tree!
    No more toys til Xmas 2022 , mfw 2023 challenge , Trying to not waste food , time or money and appreciate the moment more!
