    What a pedant.

And who is talking of absolute offences? And of driving 45ish in a 60?

We are talking about the fact that slow driving can be an offence.

    http://www.cps.gov.uk/news/fact_sheets/dangerous_driving/

It all depends on the circumstances. A 30 or 40 in a 60 may be an offence, nobody is saying it is an absolute.

That is what we have discussed.

Now you prove to me that it isn't, there's a good chap.

45mph was the speed you took issue with in this post

Keep up fella. Your recall doesn't seem to be your strong suit.

The true causes are the issues and attitudes behind the speed, whether inappropriately slow or fast.

and the question still is,in who's opinion?

The law, who do you think, mobile hairdressers?

I live rural with one main A road which is 10 miles from one town to another with not too many opportunities to overtake, esp busy times.

If some idiot is driving 45 ish on that road at a busy commute, for no apparent reason, then they run the risk of being charged with inconsiderate driving.

Now, you prove that this is not the case.

They run the risk in your opinion, and you have stated thats worth nothing
its interesting you feel the busier the road, the faster they should go
whats the time difference in covering 10 miles at 60mph and 45 mph?
its a nice easy one with a figure of 10

No it wasn't, member custardy specifically commented on a specific post I had where my example mentioned nothing of 45ish.

Are HGVs permitted on this route? Are they more or less common on the road than Mrs Miggins. What do you feel about them doing 40mph on a busy NSL?

Did you do this in your role as just a seemingly mad person or are you really trying to allude you are a traffic cop?

Considering some of the nonsense you have previously posted.

As in, drivers can drive as slow as they like if that is the limit of their skill & ability!

    I kid members not!

I think I'm only mad in your eyes Gilbert.

That should perhaps tell you something. :D

The trouble with slow drivers is it would be impossible to enforce a min limit.

You cannot have a slow camera as it would be difficult to prove you were driving slowly because of a hazard or because thats how you drive.

Its always going to be one of the frustrations in life (until cars do the driving for us) :)
