  • Hi everyone, 17 AF days and 1 SNC don't want a drink.
Went to see my uncle in the mortuary, seeing him lying there really brought it home how drink had affected him and all those around him. Also went into his home for the first time today and could see how he was living. We will find out this week the cause of death PM on Wed or Thursday hope this deters people from drinking, if you saw how upset my mum who is his twin and his niece and her children were today it would break your heart, that's why I'm sharing this, it is so very sad.

    Hi

Have felt the affects of drinking on Friday and Saturday, even though it was 3 wine on Friday and 2 wine on Saturday. I definitely was more lethargic etc.

Got an email today, asking if I want to take part in a 10 weeks health programme, exercise and diet with a personal trainer - and it's free.

Think I am going to do it, it does involve training 3 times a week at 6am for 40 minutes. The food is all fresh fruit and veg, lean meat, fish and chicken, limited dairy and of course none of the dreaded wine.

Might be just what I need to get properly focused. Wish me luck!!

    Have a good week everyone

I have been completely rubbish and so far managed 2 AF days only out of the rather ambitious 12 day goal I set! Got used to drinking on the slopes on holiday and found it hard to break away on my return back!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
