Spent half the day getting into my dissertation, then OH came home from work and we went for a walk at our local lake. Plenty of geese/ducks and also some secluded feeding spots where we took photos of, among others, this little fella:

I find birds fascinating, and they take all my stresses away so I think I should go to this place more often :)

I woke up feeling fantastic this morning which is quite shocking after just 1 AF day. Goes to show how much the alcohol has been affecting me. I know it will help me focus at work as well as when I have been drinking too much i find it impossible to focus properly at work and find myself getting stressed by looming deadlines etc. Hoping that by cutting down alcohol especially being AF during the week will help me feel more positive and able to cope.
Good luck everyone. planning on another AFD today. Bring it on!

I have found so much difference since stopping drinking. I work in an office and it is so much easier to cope with a clear head. I have had 2 drinks since 1st jan, 3 glasses of wine on 1st Feb and 11/2 glasses last Saturday.

If I can keep control if it like this I know that I am better able to cope with everything - not just at work.
I had to replace my car, I got a tesco interest free cc with 18 months interest free period

  • :6 please, Shaggy, ta

AFD's not brilliant, but I've only been having a glass of wine on most of the AD's, pretty much unheard of - but DD1 has been here with BF, so on my best behaviour :)

OK, second AF day for me, that's 2/10 please!
DSC being particularly annoying today which would normally have me rushing for the wine bottle but I resisted. If I can get through dinner without a drink then I'm OK. Tough though..... Knowing I've made a commitment on here though is really helping me stay strong. Thank you everyone!!
Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...
