Hi all, 10 AFD for me please Shaggy :)

On annual leave this week, so have done some uni work and packed up some books that I have sold on Amazon. OH and I are trying to sell stuff to put towards our 'eventual' wedding. We're not even engaged yet but want to start off married life without any debt :)

£13 towards the fund so far :D

I will let you all know once the question has been popped :rotfl:

Got through it! Managed to cook and eat dinner without having any wine, despite OH having some!! Now on the horlicks... I know, at 7.40pm! but once I'm drinking this, I am not tempted by vino at all... Hurrah!! My first AFD for months and months.... Easier than I thought, too...

    1 AFD for me please!

Just had a McDonald's hot chocolate and it was lush, usually have a latte or cappucino but they didnt have any.

  • Hi guys,
I stumbled on this thread tonight after making a decision to give up alcohol(for ever is the plan). I wouldn't say I'm an alcoholic or dependant on alcohol but i would say that i don't know my limits when I'm out and at home i seem to be drinking more frequently. Im also heavily into fitness, running etc so it all feels right for me. Im not a nice drunk and if I've have a lot i can change into a person I'm not. Ie abusive, rude etc (but never violent i may add).
Im hoping that this thread will be able to help me out and I'm hoping to find encouragement from other people here. Its a big step but I'm actually looking forward to the challenge.
My first question is has anyone tried the non-alcho beers? Are they worth considering when out etc?

Sorry to hear that Barney, hope it was your decision. One positive is that you know you can go on dates without them having to involve alcohol.

11/24 AF for me now. 43 in total.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
