What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

  • Graeme what does AKAI mean, I am not very savvi with abbreviations lol.

It's actually 41 AIKI and it's your user name 41 and i know it !!:)

Have a good day. More painting for me today.....easier without a hangover.
  • Ohhhhhhhh Graeme lol. Do you expect me to be sober and sensible hahahahaha. Love the gospel according to satchmo, got a nice ring to it lol. By the way has anyone seen the film, 40 days and 40 nights now that was made in the true biblical sense lol.

  • Oh, forgot to add I've been sleeping loads too, thought I just had a cold or tired eyes from playing online bingo on 2 sites at same time lol. Seems like one minute I'm not that tired and the next I can't keep my eyes open. Last night, well yesterday in general was so easy not to drink, the weekends are easier for me, and I'm loving the feeling of waking up feeling clear-headed. I visualise my head having the equivalent of a colonic irrigation, instead of being immersed in alcohol, I imagine it being immersed, soaked, sprayed, hosepiped, steamed in the most beautifully clean and pure waterfall of clear crystal cooling and healing water. I really hope that this feeling will stay with me. I haven't worked since March 2003 and I used to wake up nearly every morning feeling like shut. If I could work as a Nurse like that, stopping on the way to be sick and being sick in the toilet on my ward, imagine what my life will be like when I am free of this chemical imbalance. I am taking SSRIs for my depression/anxiety and I was taking alcohol for tranquilising effect. Now that the alcohol is not in my system and everyday will dissipate and hopefully my body mind and soul will learn to live a better life in its absence, I will feel my depression lift within the next 2 years according to things I have read. My benefit gets stopped on 18th July but that's the least of my worries. Health first wealth last. I will manage, but my mind and body need to be healed.

  • AF 8/26

Had a glass and a half of wine last night, to be honest I don't know why, I would have enjoyed my AF lager more. It tasted horrible.

Signed up for gym this week got 3 exercise classes booked in this week. It shocked me last week when I was the only one who hadn't lost any weight in the last 5 weeks, in the biggest loser competition at work.

    Have a goof week everyone

9 AFD for me please Shaggy :)

It took me a while to get to sleep last night, my 2 hour nap yesterday probably didn't help lol. Might be off out to see my OH's son's band play tonight and I am driving so will definitely be AF.

Walked 9.1 miles this morning in preparation for a charity walk I'm doing in May, consisting of 5 days of walking 30 miles a day. On the downside, hit a pothole this morning, and my tyre on my car has split.

Have just done a mamoth catch up, wow everyone is doing so well.

I have a cold, cough and only slept 4 hours last night due to the kids having the same. Feeling so rough today, no energy either. Luckily they are being fantastic and amusing themselves. I am contemplating a power nap, with one ear open.

I did 4/4 SNC this week and will go for the full monty again this coming week. Am on 7/20 AF please.

Oh Barney, sorry about your tyre, I hope you are ok.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
