Big thanks Fruball for the apple and soda tip because this has really helped me loads and agree with the "mouth feel"!!
Have a good week ahead everyone!

The apple juice with soda was a drink I had abroad when I was staying with a friend who knew I was trying to cut down. I was surprised how nice it was and how similar to wine it 'felt' :D The nice thing there was that the soda came in little single glass bottles with the metal caps so opening a new one was as good as opening wine :rotfl:

I don't normally like soda or tonic or any of those mixers but this is a great combination :)

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Morning all,

No AFD's for me over the weekend but none were planned - although I did cut down remarkably - only one glass of wine last night instead of the usual half a bottle ;)

Back to it today - aiming to be AF until Friday as long as I can manage to get past my usual stumbling block of Thursday (which I did last week :D)

Have a good Monday everyone :)

Monday morning and up with the lark. Well sort of!! Feeling more like my old self again. Shaggy please put me down for

    5/9 AFs :j:j:j:j:j

This is the longest I have gone without wine for a couple of years. I only ever manage 3 or maybe 4 AF evenings...so this is a major achievement.

Thanks to all you guys!! :T

Have a great day everyone :j

    :)

Same here. I surprised myself by stopping mid-evening yesterday.

I'm going to try for another full SNC this week. So declaring today as I've no plans to drink whatsoever.:D

    5 AFDs please Shaggy.

    Well done :T

I think I am going to try to join you with the SNC this week. That will beat my record of 3 nights last week :D

6/14 for me as of this evening, thanks Shaggy
