Good evening everyone
I managed another AF evening last night. I am so so pleased. Today was great, no hangover or sleeping late!! I was up with the lark and able to get loads done!!
That's 3/9 :j:j:j:j
Tonight will be a test because I am feeling slightly stressed but Im determined to find another method to counter these feelings - green tea possibly??!! I need something to replace the ole hand to mouth action :rotfl:
I hope you all have a great evening and achieve what you set out to do!!** Stay excellent, stay AF **This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I drink 1/3 apple juice with soda water as my wine replacement. It is really good and has a very similar 'mouth feel' to wine.
Well, last night was somewhat regrettable. Having picked up some virus from somewhere and drinking wine after a 3 day break was NOT a good combination.
Saturday = ruinedAt least I care about that now. A year ago I wouldn't have given a hoot how many days were ruined. It is still progress
AF tonight making 5/14 for me please Shaggy0 -

Hope you managed to stick to it. Brilliant that you were aware of your feelings and that you knew that alcohol wouldn't of changed anything long term. You must be mega proud of yourself.
Yes I managed to stick at it and not had a drink thus far today either.
Rather pleased re. the drinking but I'm really failing to keep the spending budget.2018 totals:

You could try journalling. Can be very therapeutic. Just get some paper and write, scribble, draw your stress!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Well done! It's great to get a few under your belt and start to feel physically better for it, as you are doing. As they say, no pain no gain :T0 -
4/14 for yesterday. Turned out it was a good decision not to have a drink as I went to pick up some bargain furniture I was not expecting to get yesterday evening. Should double my investment on that.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000
