The Giving Up/ Cutting Down alcohol support thread - number 12

Unfortunately, I shared a bottle of wine with my wife this evening over dinner.
Had friends for dinner last night and I also had wine. Tried to interspace it with water and woke up clear headed this morning! As long as I am in massive monthly credit to booze free nights then that was my goal and a few nights won't hurt! If I have to write on this forum for the rest of my life to keep a lid on my consumption then I don't mind!

Stu: I feel the same way, what started off as something purely to save money (cutting down on alcohol), made me realise I needed to for other reasons.
Really quite savoured wine with dinner this evening, nor did I want to carry on drinking after. Mrs. K. was rather pleased with this development.2018 totals:

Carefully watch your thoughts, for they become your words. Manage and watch your words, for they will become your actions. Consider and judge your actions, for they have become your habits. Acknowledge and watch your habits, for they shall become your values. Understand and embrace your values, for they become your destiny.”

ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
