  • 8/14 tonight so that is the longest I've been without alcohol in about 10 years :j. I have been to the pub tonight but as I only had 62p left from my weekly spend challenge it wasn't too hard to just sit and chat. Phew!

Well, didn't drink last night and heading to bed shortly so I will confidently state that including tonight I am 20 AF so far this month!:rotfl:

Easy this month despite being very difficult over a great many other months.

Went to Makro today with the neighbours. I was disturbed by the surge of excitement I felt when I hit the alcohol area and saw bargain prices for Peroni Beers, top notch Champagnes & fine wines!
Resisted the urge to fill my cart and stay sensible in terms of purchases.

Hope all well with you all.

Currently craving a drink and after moaning to Mrs. K. I've decided to read a few posts on here instead.

Hope I can manage to be a good boy this evening and manage another AF day ... I really want that cauldron stirring sticker ... :o
Well done Alex :T I really want the pumpkin one. I find the posts help me too - just knowing others are struggling with and/or achieving their AFDs gives me encouragement.

I'll get the pumpkin for yesterday and if I am very very good I can still get the cauldron. That's an incentive!

    Hello everyone,

Some great achievements on here over the last few days - I want the pumpkin one too but I got thrown off track last night :( - friends came round unexpectedly and brought a bottle of my favourite wine and I couldn't resist . It was lovely to see them though :).

Must try and catch up this evening and although Thursday is normally an allowed drinking day for me I will try and refrain ;)

Have a great day all :)

Reporting in for tonight as dinner is over and I'm safely on the camomile tea! Hubby is on board too, so that's a great help. That makes it 5/10

11/25 AFDs for me, even though DH brought in two bottles of nice wine. Sainthood beckons!
