Have had 5 AFDs in a row, most unusual for me. Partly due to being unwell but now that I've started it seems silly not to carry on. Only 11 days left this month so guess I should start with that. My aim is to have 9 of them as AFDs. For me that would be a saving of approx. £45!!! Never realised how much I spent on alcohol till I did that sum :mad:you're on the list
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Really losing motivation for this and already craving a drink today
. Not sure how bad it is to just have one when lunchtime rolls around. I'm fairly certain I won't manage to reach my target now either.

Alex, don't worry too much about reaching your target but focus on just being AF today. Having just one at lunch might deal with the craving for now but it'll only delay the issue of having to face the craving an
d overcome it - does that make sense?Trying to keep in budget.

gien: Thank you and yes, it makes perfect sense. I have been told I should not drink as much as I do (doctor) and to be honest there are times I don't know why I start drinking in the first place. I don't have a "problem". However, there are times when I wonder and I *was* doing so well. :mad:2018 totals:

No AFD's for me over the weekend but I wasn't planning any
Welcome Rosepetal :hello:
Good luck for the week ahead everyone0 -
I'm really, really tired today. Slept fitfully last night, possibly wine fuelled.:(
Calling in really early
10 AFDs please Shaggy
That's target met for me and I'm sure I'll get some more in before the end of the month.:)
P.S. Hope you didn't cave in to daytime drinking Alex. I know it's hard but it does get easier as you replace one habit with another. I know you wanted to save some money but do think of your health as well. I enjoy the feeling of being in control. It's good to have will power.:)0 -
