Hmmm no AF nights this week. I have been on holiday and had a drink every day so no hope of reaching my target now :(

    Hello everyone,

I have noticed that since I joined this thread the amount I have, even on days I do drink, has reduced considerably.

Same for me! Massive improvement when I follow this thread. I also have a personal trainer as well twice per week and when I tell him I have had two bottles of wine he looks at me with disbelief like he can't quite believe that someone can be such a glutton!

15 AF nights for me so far!

Good luck everyone and especially to those who are off over the weekend and have time and temptation to fight!

    14 please, Shaggy, ta.

AF Friday night - had a bit of a wobble, but ate a M*gnum ice cream, and that seemed to hit the spot!! (and the waist/hips, but hey ho).

It's not toooooo difficult for me this weekend, because DH works away during the week and I persuaded him not to come back this weekend for his own health (he has been tired and coming home every weekend feeling ill and therefore stroppy) :) So he is not here driving me to drink. :T Also, I have a couple of projects which I need to get done so I am working this weekend

However, big family party here next Sunday  for DH's significant birthday. So I am preparing for that, mentally and physically, and I am so busy that I can't afford to waste any time with a hangover or sitting around idly drinking wine (although tempting!) :T Also, I am going to try not to drink anything at the party :)

Have a good weekend everybody ;)

No AFDs but I have A Plan to get in at least 3 more next week & def no bingeing - I have one bottle in the fridge for today & some red - OH is coming over later for a roast chicken meal (sounds nice but remember this is wb cooking....).

I usually buy wine from a supermarket wine website as their own-brand Aussie chardonnay is really nice & tastes far superior to it's £4 price-tag! They do free next-day delivery but you can also choose a specific delivery slot so I've gone for next Saturday afternoon. I've a bottle in OH's fridge for next Friday night so basically this is a very long-winded way of saying I will have a booze-free house all week! So unless I go out for a pub-lunch - no drinking.

While I'm droning on...the last time I ordered 2 cases of 6 of this cheap Chardonnay, I struck gold! The wine had obviously been repackaged & in a hurry - I opened one case & found I had 4 correct bottles & 2 other chardonnays that usually retail at £10 each so all well & good. In the second case another 4 correct ones, then a pinot grigio (ew ) & finally a bottle of....red. As soon as I saw the label I went rushing off to look it up - £25 a bottle! I daren't drink it now although as OH points out it only cost me £4. I in turn pointed out back that he may now regret saying he doesn't like French wine :rotfl::rotfl:

They also once sent me 6 bottles of £14 chateauneuf du pape instead of the £4.50 rioja I'd ordered :T *sigh*.
Long may their warehouse staff stay in work.

Have a great Sunday all...looking forward to AF Monday but if I'm honest it's easy when it's manana. Wait until 3pm tomorrow & watch me climbing walls.....:(
