Another AF day for me yesterday! 15/30 :j
This is the longest I've gone without a drink for well over 15 years! It is definitely starting to make a difference as well. I don't feel so bloated, I have more energy and more cash in my pocket!Professional Blogger | Money Saver | Money Maker0 -
9/14 AFD's for me please Shaggy.
Winebox - you crack me up with your kitchen antics :rotfl:
Have a good day all0 -
Got to disagree, Come Dine With Me is class!!!
Oh dear, Barny! Imagine Dave Lamb saying "IT ISN'T!" (he gets more hysterical the longer the series go on).
Gien - I agree re the rubbish TV aimed at drunks but CDWM is on at 5.30. oh, it's true!graemecarter wrote: »Amazing achievement.
I previously thought that there would be no fun in life without alcohol, but I find that not to be the case at all.
My life is richer and fuller without booze.
Booze told me I couldn't give it up, but booze is a big stinking liar.
Well done.
Wise words as ever GC. I'd love to ask you out for a drinkBarney, I have to confess that I've never really watched CDWM, just caught clips here and there - must make an effort. My trash telly is anything on BBC3!
"effort" is the last thing you need to watch CDWM - chewing gum for the eyes. Makes me laugh (anyone else watching The Wrong Mans?...FUNNY!)
Today!: We have a post-office on a Thursday morning so I walked along to post a parcel & came back with 3 books & a marrow. This is so different to life in Camden.....
Playing safe in the kitchen tonight - nothing splashy(fishcakes NOT home-made).
I've sorted out a couple of financial issues this week & that combined with the fact the bottle recycling goes out tonight in my peculiar mind is a starting point to try & keep that black box as empty as poss (my poor back!) & to start hiving some cash away towards the C-word in December. I was beating myself up over spending £40 on what is basically an indulgence & suddenly thought, 4 AFDs & that's paid for. Sometimes I think I'm stupid:mad: (& where's sarky eye rolling face? I need it all the time!).
& today's....You think asbestos is bad, at least we don't still have asworstos.
hang on, can I get a refund on this book?!0 -

Hello,
Just in from dinner out with other half. Not the miserable affair of my previous post when we went out in London. We had a row last night and it seems to have cleared the air a lot. Anyway, he drove and only had one beer whilst I had soda water only! This takes me to 14 AF nights this month.
