No further AFDs for me this weekend, and I too went overboard last night. Didn't let it stop me from slogging through a mammoth housework session today, though, in preparation for bringing my lovely mum to stay for a while. So looking forward to her visit. I hope she can stay for a fortnight, although I think it'll be a week.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

No more AFDs to report, but very moderate drinking so I feel OK about that.
    Trying to keep in budget.

Not managed an AF day either. However, only had a couple.

  • Just found this thread :rotfl:
Have had 5 AFDs in a row, most unusual for me. Partly due to being unwell but now that I've started it seems silly not to carry on. Only 11 days left this month so guess I should start with that. My aim is to have 9 of them as AFDs. For me that would be a saving of approx. £45!!! Never realised how much I spent on alcohol till I did that sum
Proud to be dealing with my debts!
    LBM - December 2012 Time in debt - 30 years and 2 months! DFD - May 2015
    Credit Cards - 5 (£38,000) Personal Loan - 1 (£8,352)
    Mortgage - 1 (£195,000)

    Hello all,

Hope you all had a pleasant weekend. From my bed I can hear the rain lashing down the window to make Monday morning even more of a Monday morning!

17 AF for me! Good luck in the rain today to all the Southerners!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Hello everyone,

I did have a drink last night but I have noticed that since I joined this thread the amount I have, even on days I do drink, has reduced considerably.

I definitely noticed this too. :T:T:T
