Mrsdee, so sorry about your mum, come back to us soon x

8/25 AFDs, don't feel as though I'm doing that well this month.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

    Hi all

Failed the last 2 days but back on the straight and narrow today. I had a bottle of wine over the last 2 nights (OH did have a glass out of it). I'm surprised how much drinking is part of my life.

At least you didn't drink to oblivion and mess up the next day, so that's progress. I really think for cutters-down there is a different mindset on 'school nights'. Hopefully you'll find today easier.:)

I've never managed (or even tried if I'm honest:o) to crack having a drink at weekends. I'll be having a drink with my roast this evening and then back joining you all tomorrow.

Sorry to hear your sad news mrsdee, but looking forward to having you back on board with us very soon.:)

Thanks Maman - I suppose my main issue is drinking that bit too much and turning into an idiot and the depression:eek:. A glass or 2 at the weekend isn't so bad.

No AFDs to add this weekend, but very sensible drinking, just a couple of glasses each evening.
I'll be back on the school night thing from tomorrow evening,
    Trying to keep in budget.

  • Had way too much at a party last night and have been suffering big time today :(

But it has meant that even though I went out this evening, I stuck to soft drinks, so can report my first AFD for September.

Am absolutely shattered but I know from experience that I will have difficulty getting off to sleep tonight.

The alcohol demon in all its evilness possessed me this weekend. I need to exorcise it. It's still worming in my brain, because as I sit here typing this it's saying "oh, you can't cut alcohol out until after your anniversary next Saturday, when you've got to have a bottle of champagne (and as DH would rather have Cava, buy both)".
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
