14/16 AFD
So chuffed with myself and hubby is 15/16 AFD which is amazing as I was very concerned about his heavy drinking at one point. Starting to realise how much I was spending on booze. We went into town yesterday and instead of going for a drink in the pub we went for a lovely latte in Costa coffee

14/29 AFDs for me. No cravings today, and I think that was because for a change my DH wasn't imprisoned by his depression and actually came out with me to a local event - and enjoyed himself!
Sorry you are going through turmoil 41, I have no medical knowledge to offer, just a {{hug}}

Same here 41, I can't help medically but hopefully your GP will soon get the scan to look at and be able to advise you and put your mind at rest.
I'm off on holiday on Thursday and I'm planning to get a couple more AF days before then. I won't meet my target but I know I've been sensible despite more drinking days than I'd like this month.0 -
Morning :hello:

I have updated #2386What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

15/29 AFDs for me.
I didn't get the Internal Communications job I applied for in my organisation, boo. It was just 6 hours a week, but it'd have been 6 interesting hours. Still, at least I'm not at threat of redundancy, which has just been mooted, so mustn't grumble! What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Hi all,
No additional AFDs for me. Was moderate with my drinking on Friday and Saturday but not yesterday. Was father's day and I was stressed all day. Me and OH went for one drink at our local and that was it, I bought a bottle of rose and drank it all last night. Also ate a load of crap
I know it's my way of pushing down difficult feelings, but this has been one time out of 6 months so I should be grateful for that...I have the awareness now so hopefully that will stop it becoming a habit again.
Apart from the fuzzy head, the main feeling I felt was shame. I know my AFs aren't great this month (I feel bad that I don't have more) but I'm not drinking a lot (one or two units at a time), it's just yesterday was a bad one.
Makes me wonder whether I should go back to not drinking at all...there wasn't this problem then.
Feeling angry at myself, so sorry I can't be more positive. Good to see so many others doing well thoughxx

Monday check in for the SNC, with some eager beavers already scoring on the AFDs
We have:
Gien 0/4
41 1/5 nights
Freebyfifty 1/5
Shaggy 1/5 nights
Barny 4 nights
Joanne 4 nights
Good luck for the rest of the night - I had a very nice cool beer because it is so hot here at the moment - 35 this afternoon and only just now cooling down. So not AF but quite moderate.Trying to keep in budget.
