  • Satchmo, good luck on your extremely busy day today. Hope you get the energy you need for your run and all the other things you have planned. This colleague that is giving up drink for the year, hope that you will be able to talk to her and that she will tell you things that help you. It is so good that someone in your workplace wants to try to give up and has told someone. There are probably more but won't say anything as then the questions start such as why? Enjoy your Saturday I will be thinking of you today and thanks for your kind words they mean so much. Have a good one honey, try and stay awake lol

Thanks Lilith for your continuuing and appreciated support. Well done Barney too, we survived the first night of the month without a drink. It could have been so easy to become complacent because of our success in January, I only managed 27 days I think you did the whole month Barney if I remember, but we didn't rest on our laurels. This is great and I hope that we all will continue to surprise ourselves by achieving the goals that we set, whether it is cutting down or abstaining or becoming more aware.
    Thanks everyone.
Cheers, though I was driving which helped hehe! Drove up to parents in Manchester after the meal, got there at 1am, asleep about 2:30am and up already.
  • I know I thought I'd have a lie in today, but my body said get up. It's good innit lol.

Thanks I did it. And the bonus is I actually enjoyed myself.
Today I got a clear head and clear conscience and looking forward to the next night out, don't go out very often, and I know it will definitely be AF.

For those who are trying to cut down, have you seen this site:
    http://www.drinksmarter.org/

It was a banner on another site I use, and looks quite interesting.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
